Right on, as usual Tinman. We have known each other for almost all of those 15 years and I am proud to call you a friend. You can always be counted on to take the high road in hobby issues and that, combined with your intelligence and eloquence, makes you a very valuable asset in this community. I miss your reviews. I loved the big socials and enjoyed the smaller happy hours and dinner gatherings as well. I actually put a few together myself, as some of you here might recall. It's a shame that a few selfish miscreants have now made it impossible, or at the least, uncomfortable to have these anymore. I still do some dinners but I “really” know everyone that comes.

The “Posses” are to blame for a lot of the ugliness that occasionally creeps into the hobby and ruins it for the rest of us. We have seen several come and go over the years. They are always eventually exposed and then quietly disappear back under the rock they crawled out from. My first exposure was the “Pirates” group that Welle Johnson put together. What a mess that was. Started out as a fun group of one-minded guys but then got ugly. Then there was the PatB group, then the FWOldguy or whoever that was. There were a couple of others in between. Seems like the purpose was always to beat the system somehow and manipulate a provider’s rep by posting fake reviews with replies and “attaboys” from posse members, all in exchange for free pussy from a sometimes clueless provider. Kind of what I would call “board pimping”.

Sometimes the Posses were used to try to silence or ruin a girl or a hobbyist who didn’t knuckle under and bow down to the posse. We are seeing some of that now. Fortunately for us all there are people on this board that have seen it all before and recognize these groups early on and expose them, as has happened recently here.

I think it’s healthy and I wish to personally thank those of you out there, providers and hobbyists alike, that are willing to take on the posses, the bullies and the “Board Pimps”. I don’t have the patience, the grit or the eloquence I used to have and I welcome the younger and stronger of you to take up the sword. The quicker they are exposed and removed, the better it is for all of us.

Thanks, PM. I always appreciated the discretion you displayed in organizing some of those long-ago get-togethers. Always felt comfortable attending, and it's too bad the overly-connected world in which we now live makes social gatherings like those almost impossible.

Plus, my liver couldn't have survived if I had kept up that pace!

I've been to several of these "posses" over the last few years and have to say, I am wondering what the hell y'all are talking about. Each one was a class act all the way...ladies and gents. Each one was a barrel of fun, some of them themed, some of them huge (200 people) and some much smaller. I never felt threatened, outed, guilty, stupid, embarrassed...or questioned why I went to them. Some were private places, some were public bars and ALL of them were a fucking blast.

Nobody has to arrange these things...they just want to. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never heard of organizers making a killing off of them, either. Losing a few bucks? Yep.

So tell me where else you're gonna get to see and flirt with a Provider...besides paying for it? Tell me where else you can view 30 girls at once...size 'em up, check to see how accurate their pics are (lol) and meet some of the guys you've read posts of...and wondered what that guy was like.

You don't HAVE to go to them to have fun here...and if you're paranoid about seeing Uncle Bill or your wife then they probably aren't for you. But...to trash these get-togethers?
