Default ISO Foreign Car Mechanic

I need someone who fixes on European Cars. I will pay out of pocket but me being a girl and all, I keep getting screwed!
If anyone can recommend a good none dealership mechanic I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Grace

Have Two cars that need work done.
A 2006 S500 that needs a airmatic pump/headlight assembly and a QP that needs a new clutch.
Dealership on the S500 is quoting around 5grand for its problems and the clutch on the QP runs around 3,000.
Too expensive!

When I used to drive a Jetta, this place did pretty good work and seemed trustworthy: http://autopiakc.com/

Are both of your cars up here in KC,
There on one in Wichita, that can work on them.
I don't have a clue how to work on them.
That way I won't start any drama.
I'm surprised the guys on here didn't tell you to PM me!!!

What the heck is a QP? I'm not aware of any Mercedes, BMW, or VAG product with that model name or chassis code.

Is it a Maserati Quattroporte?

ya. On that one he says she might as well lube up now and assume the position cause 3k is actually a decent price for a clutch. The parts alone are well over 2k.

From my googling about the S500 is Germans like building cars that are expensive to fix especially if you ignore their warning alerts. 5k for that one is on the low side. There is also some calibration that needs to be done when plugged into a Mercedes computer diag system also. So even if you have some one throw the parts at it the dealer will probably need to finish the job if they even will.

If you take it to a Mercedes dealer, you'll get screwed but at least they'll have all the special service tools. If you take it to Bubba, you'll get to buy the special service tools for him.

Right the first time

My problem isn't so much the mechanic its more the parts. Was hoping someone knew where I can buy discount Benz parts.
The dealership/ "discount" import parts place here in Wichita quoted me $1,000 (dealer) and $1,200 (discount lol) for my headlight assembly.
I've even checked the salvage around Wichita but unfortunately there's just not a lot of benz's around here.

Check rockauto.com. The parts on there were between 500 and 1000.
