Zimmerman was attacked from behind and he defended himself. Just because a black guy got himself killed in a bi-racial conflict is no reason for Zimmerman to burn. And it certainly isn't a reason for black rioters to shut down freeways four states away.

Out of fear of getting about 90 points for ripping your bullshit post to shreds, I'll refrain from ripping your bullshit post to shreds (well, I shouldn't say 'fear of' getting points, because I don't fear getting them. Sharpton and Jackson didn't 'create' anything. Woman, do you think blacks LIKE being treated like shit? White people walk around with this protective cloak of WHITE PRIVILEGE (a phrase introduced to me, by a WHITE woman. Google it if you've never heard of it). In a nutshell, it means those of caucasian demographic gets the benefit of the doubt in most or all situations. A white man with a hood on is a white man that is cold. A black man with a hood on is a potential suspect, a 'perp', possibly 'up to no good'. White criminals use this to their advantage. In the opening moments of a crime they're committing, this benefit can create tons of leverage in their favor, while a black criminal is at a disadvantage most times because of the color of his skin makes him 'suspicious' and therefore may lose any initial advantage that can critical in success or failure.

Everything in this killing and trial that COULD favor Zimmerman DID favor Zimmerman. What was ignored was Zimmerman's own criminal record (assaulted a cop and resisted arrest). It had no relevance in the trial, but IS REFLECTIVE OF HIS CHARACTER. Previous 911 calls every time a black youth is in eyesight, over 40 of them, is reflective of his character.

Zimmerman was still holding the gun that he murdered Trayvon with when officers arrived. There was no process of what you see on TV, where he was ordered to "Put the weapon down! Get on the ground!!!" etc, etc. That never happened. If Zimmerman was black, standing over a dead white teenager, he WOULD HAVE BEEN GUNNED DOWN on the spot, and the story would be, 'COPS KILL ASSAILANT AFTER VICIOUS MURDER OF AN INNOCENT YOUTH.

They found traces of marijuana in Trayvon's system (not sure what they mean by traces, i.e. little or lot or whatever). They didn't even test Zimmerman's blood. Dead kid on the ground, this FUCKER holding a gun. Who cares what's in his blood.

If this isn't appalling to anyone reading or know this, then you're a waste of oxygen.

It's not only blacks that are protesting. There were white people at the court house crying the night the verdict was read. It's not just blacks who want true justice. Not all people are ignorant, racist morons. Some are, and they know who they are. It is possible that some are on this board. Just saying.

Don't pretend white privilege doesn't exist. You can sit there and type whatever the fuck you want, but in your minds you're probably thinking, 'Yeah, I talk all this shit to Creed to get him riled up, even though I know he's right. Ha ha. Yeah. I'm glad I'm white. Being white is so badass.'

Actually, in a Court of Law there are only two states: Guilty or Not Guilty (Not Proven is also sometimes used interchangeably with Not Guilty). "Innocent" is not a determination of the Court, that's a layman's extended interpretation of a Not Guilty verdict.

The Presumption of Innnocence Until Proven Guilty is just a legalism. It does not mean that someone who is found Not Guilty is actually Innocent, it means that if the State cannot prove their case and get a guilty verdict then the defendant is free of all charges.

Three of the jurors initially voted for a Manslaughter conviction against Zimmerman, but the evidence was not there to support the conviction beyond a reasonable doubt.

Let's get some facts into this conversation.

1. Zimmerman is 1/4 Black, 1/4 Peruvian, and 1/2 white Jew.
2. Zimmerman lead a protest against the Sanford Police Dept. a year before this happened, for brutally beating an unarmed BLACK man. He ORGANIZED and LEAD, the protest which lead to the the investigation of the officer involved.
3. Zimmerman had been instructed by a police officer to buy the gun and get training because he and his wife had been attacked by a loose, neighborhood pitbull.
4. Martin was not merely walking on the sidewalk when Zimmerman saw him. He had been walking in the yard of one of the residences as though he MAY have been peering into the windows. This is what originally drew attention to him.
5. He was already out of his vehicle when the dispatcher told him don't follow Martin and he said OK and was in the process of complying by returning to his truck.
6. Martin had bruised and bloody knuckles from pummeling Zimmerman.
7. Martin was out buying Skittles and Iced Tea because he was into mixing them with Robitussin and making a street drug called lean which causes a person to be psychotic and... AGGRESSIVE!

There were lots of pieces of this puzzle that have not been told yet and as they come out, it looks worse and worse for the preconceived notion that Martin was just an innocent teen minding his own business and not causing or looking for any trouble. IJS

Why is it that when I turn on the TV, I only see pregnancy shows that star white teenage moms? Don't answer. I already know why. Pretty lil white girls make for better TV. Oh, btw, there are way MORE white teen moms than black teen moms. But the TYPICAL IMAGE of a 'welfare mom' is a black teen with 3-4 rug rats running around. They don't know how many people have AIDS, because many don't get tested, so you can do what you want with those numbers. Unless you're part of the BB posse, I'd take it with a grain of salt. Yeah. In a truly civilized society, I'm inclined to believe that the powers that be would want to do everything it could to elevate the people and land as high as possible. The old 'American Dream' cliche, if you will. This country maybe started out that way, at least the intentions were (sorta). Somewhere along the way this country has turned into a state where the 'Haves' are completely intent on keeping everything to themselves. The way to do that is to keep the 'have nots' in the dark. The Haves have designed a system that creates ONE WAY wealth and prosperity. This includes health, education, better technology, and other cool shit that they don't want to share with "po' folks". People that live a hard life many times don't know how to get better. They don't know how to improve their circumstances. This is where those that have the better things in life SHOULD step in and say, 'this is how you do it'. Instead, they let society wither away, and that's happening to America. Some of those that used to be 'well off' aren't doing as well as they used to.

The top 1% live in great wealth and power based on the laws that they help create. When someone comes into power who wants to share the wealth to lesser fortunate, he or she is met with resistance (Obama, for example). Obama wants things that the wealthy have enjoyed forever to be extended to everybody. Uhhhh, why is this a problem? Don't you want a society where people are able to do for themselves? Instead of teaching poor people 'how to fish', some of you would rather give them a fish and force them to depend on you. You want them to 'owe' you, so you can overcharge them for everything. Many don't know how to get out of this predicament.

Do you think the average black (or even white), struggling, minimum wage family knows about Debt Forgiveness? That's how some of the well off people do it. Fuckers owe $50,000 to 'the system' or whomever. He/she gets that debt waived (somehow. don't know the nuances of it myself), and 'hidden' on his/her credit. Credit rating goes back up. That's not happening in the ghetto, and no one's telling them about it. Instead, the bill collector man shows up, wanting to take every dime that family has. Poor people owe high interest on everything, and make minimum wage. That money goes to the wealthy. For what? Instead of letting people wallow in debt, why not show them out to get out of it? This creates two things: trust and belief in those in position of power.

But who in the hell wants a society that works for everybody? Oh, this leads us back to square one. The Haves are greedy and want everything for themselves and want to be in control and want to own everything.

And one of the perks of being a successful gentleman of color is seeing racist white men lose theirs. I had the good fortune of having great paternal influences who taught me how this country really works. I was taught that I had to be stronger, smarter and more devious that the kid next to me in order to be considered equal. And yes, I was brought up in an affluent area. These lessons helped me through college, the military and the business world.
To say that there are no longer social injustices based solely on race is asinine. To say that we(blacks) don't do enough to further our own culture is a sad truth.
