I guess I'm getting sentimental with age. But I wonder if anybody from the old hobbyists (and, mind you, by 'old' I did not mean age, but rather years in the 'hobby') are still around.

I started my 'hobby' around 1995 (wow, the time flies!). At that time there was no bulletin boards nor discussion groups on the 'hobby' and there was a total rip-off by so-called (at that time) providers. I was young and horny, stuck in the sexless marriage, and girls would charge me around $180 just for dancing around me semi-naked, without even allowing me to touch them. I was lucky to get a HJ then.

At that time, I met one guy at one of the Usenet groups (yeah, the Web was not so developed and we had Usenet then). We chatted about this miserable situation and he decided to start a private 'hobby' list. I still don't know his real name and probably never will, but he was going under the nickname Dick O'Stone. Later he changed his name to Papa Rotzy. The list grew in size, he was picking some hapless horny males, like ourselves, from the Usenet groups. And then we got info on some real providers that we were happy to share with each other.

After a few years Papa Rotzy got tired to manage his list and disappeared, without me having a chance to buy him a beer, as I once promised, as my humble token of appreciation for all his efforts. Well, he was living in Dallas and in Houston so whenever each one of us was visiting these places the other was not available. Too bad, he sounded like a very cool guy to me.

The Papa Rotzy's list was then 'inherited' by a guy from Houston who went under nickname Horny Devil or simply HD. We met at one of the happenings and I know his real name, which I prefer to keep to myself. At this happening I also met a girl to whom I developed a big crush (I know, this one of 'no-nos' in our 'hobby', but we're humans, after all). Her name was Kelly and she used to run the Yours Tonight agency. This was the only case in my long 'hobby' career, whereas I really 'broke down' and was ready to leave my wife and marry Kelly, so much I liked her. Alas, she disappeared about 5 years ago, after owing money to somebody. At the same time the Horny Devil and his list also disappeared. I won't be surprised if he took off with Kelly, since they were also good friends and even married her. In such a case I would have changed his name to Lucky Devil, instead of Horny Devil. If some of you know her whereabouts and even in touch with her, please tell her that I still have a place in my heart for her (she will know who I am).

Then the ASPD came into existence along with many great, alas now defunct, studios (Wildflowers, for example). I was also frequenting Dong Kyong and was going under the nickname the Chocolate Guy there because of my habit of bringing good chocolates to the girls I liked there.

Well, I was also a member of another short-lived private list that was ran by the guy named Sandman. He got expelled, for the reason I cannot recall now, from Papa Rotzy's list and started a list of his own. We met once for lunch. He was an Asian guy, married like me, who loved women. I remember that he was very tense during our meeting and I felt like we are some kind of spies or terrorists instead of just being men who want to fulfill their natural urges.

So... if anyone of my old buddies is still there, send me a note, either here or through the PM. I just want to know how are you doing. Let's swap some memories and maybe even get together for a drink to reminiscent on our past 'adventures.' Or, my handles at the private lists were Kind Stranger or Alex. Sometimes I even used my Dong Kyong handle the Chocolate Guy.

So whenever you are, I wish you all good and long life, good erections (thanks God for Viagra and similar stuff) and keep loving life! Because I firmly believe that men who love women and want to have sex with them have their virility intact which assures a long and healthy life.

I started the hobby around 1984. It was so much harder back then to find the women I wanted to see. I was into the massage-plus-as-much-as-I-could-get-with-a-beautiful-girl hunt. I would drive around looking for shops or signs in front of locations. My first searches were in the Yellow Pages, and then Houston Press and Health & Fitness. I'm still friends with many who I first met back then, and others have disappeared--I'd love to make contact again.

In the mid-80's I stopped just one time at a house on W. Alabama and got FS from a 25-year-old married girl who used the name "Mercedes". She was so beautiful, and with perfect breasts--I think that was to this day my best session ever, even though it was very brief. I was so scared of sex with a stranger back then. I often wonder what became of her. There were two girls from Jacklyn's Stress Relief on the Gulf Fwy from the mid-90's that I would love to track down again.

Yes Houston at one time was wide open and a lot of fun. The Spas were heaven on Earth. Escape, Wild Flowers, Suite 8, Discretion and a number of others. The Loft was one of my favorites. You didn't have to worry about booking an appointment, passing screening, you just drove right up, walked in and got your rocks off and hit the road.

Back then you had some real posters like Wanna Be Rode, Mighty Tonka Truck, Dali Lama You had people with balls like BNI who would organize parties and not show up. We would meet at strip clubs for lunch and invite all the hookers we knew. Amazing John would have real porn stars come into town and put in one of the Escape locations and you could see girls like Gauge for $240. Then it was over.

No disrespect intended to you, Big Louie, but I am certain Amber told me and wrote that it was Adult Service Provider Discussion.

I cannot swear that is correct, but I also doubt Amber would have used the word "Prostitute" in her title.
