8 pm is good for me. It wasn't to hot last night. I been stepping away from cardio and strength training, but not going back to my running/sprinting. I hate my treadmil, I rather run like Forest Gump lol.

You would burn more fat if you ran early morning when cooler and a farther distance or a longer more consistent time of cardio, than running 3 miles at the hottest point of the day. Your calories burned are calculated by your height, age, weight, and heart rate... not how hot it is or how much you sweat.

Well played running at hottest part of day just makes you hotter. You are smoking hot already

For me, and many others that I have discussed this with, the impact of the heat does curb the evening appetite and makes going to bed earlier possible if desired.
That may not be true for everybody, but it is worth considering and trying if you are interested.
What Wise Abigale says about calories burned is true though...

Hey ladies! Congrats on the weight loss Amy. I have found that being sedentary and gaining weight really put the kibosh on my abilities in the sack. Lately I have been working out more, and it has increased my libido.
I lift weights, then I go for long walks, but I do it very late, almost near nightfall because of the horrendous heat we have here.

Not that you asked but, some advice. Go get a gym membership and lift some steel.
It will help pick up some of that _____ (you fill in the blank) You will appreciate a good 45mins of lifting. Trust me. Running you will def lose muscle mass and look even more flabby.
The term skinny fat is real, ladies. So not to be mean but weight lifting helps a ton. If you have bad knees or back whatever building muscle will help support you.
Alot of gyms will even grant you one free training session so that someone there can show you some things. Go get introduced to a gym. People are there for different
reasons. Its a helpful place.
I don't know what you did or doing for this weightloss Amy. I wish you well. But I can tell you one thing for sure if you had some weightloss surgery, the weight can come back if you don't change your lifestyle.
I commend the ladies doing it the right way.. It lasts when its done slow and the hard way. Diet and exercise.
Back on topic.. Good Luck Amy, you will need it. Weightloss is a daily battle.

I work out daily. Have completed many 30 day challenges, the squat one kicked my ass. I have a gym membership,a nd free weights at home (working on my arms at the moment). Some things (such as mommy tummy and having c-section I work at, but will get that tucked later). Believe me, there is no easy way to lose weight no matter what, and I don't have alot of loose skin for all of my strength training. I think I look great and another 20-30 pounds will put me in a better place. You fill in the blank, and this is suppose to be a welcome back thread, and I don't want or need your 2 cents!!!
