Where did you get your grand theories about how much of a beating you have to take before you can use deadly force to make it stop? Can you cite a SINGLE legal case where a court ruled that you can't use deadly force if you are just being beaten with fists?

This case involves a burglar who broke into a home in New Jersay and gave a beating to a mother right in front of her small child. The beating was recorded by a nanny cam. He does NOT use a weapon, just punches and kicks:

Awful. But, what does it have to do with what we are talking about? Zimmerman targets Martin when there is zero credible evidence he was doing anything wrong, follows and confronts him after being told by authorities not to do that, and when he starts getting his ass kicked, he shoots the kid? You'll need to explain the link between this home-invasion video and the current topic of discussion....because these two things have zero to do with one another.

And, the answer to your question is yes, deadly force would have been justified against this piece of shit. Unbelievable. A dozen criminal convictions per the article you post and this scum is loose on the streets.

I never said by race ( I did say if it was an all black jury, he'd be toast) ....in fact it is an all white jury and I have said Zimmerman will still be convicted of a lesser crime.

Not trying to get "lawyerish", but I think most people don't understand the stand your ground law or self defense. Just to be clear, you do not have to think you are going to die, you only have to think that serious bodily harm will or has come to you. If it weren't for all the rioting and looting the village was suffering, you would not have even had this trial. Most police go by the notion that if you got shot from the front, you weren't trying to get away from the person that was standing his ground.
