You can get 999 replies that say they don't discuss this with others, but all it takes is one to ruin things. I saw a provider earlier this year that named some famous people she had seen and that's the last time I saw her. I'm sure the "famous people" would be thrilled to know that she was talking about them.

No, I don't talk about it. Some people know "famous" people. Some people have even procured providers for "famous" people. If you're a professional those stories go to the grave with you. Never ask a provider in DC, or any state capital city, who their clients are, you don't want to know, their incall is probably bugged, and "they" might have to come and kill you both.

So "definately" 'tain't smart to be a "looser" by talking hobby business out of school. Even inside the hobby.

When my friends talk about all the bullshit with their SO's, I just say "It's cheaper to rent!" Had a few ask me for details, I tell em "Eros-Dallas.com". Nuff said! I had one close friend I took to the Asian Spas for the first time, now he's hooked. But in most casual convo, no. Never any names or specifics, unless they are truly interested, and in-attached. They cannot be sure who I am. From the screening info they submitted, I know who they are or I know of them. If it is too close to home (maybe they're in the same social circle), I just tell them I don't think we're compatible or I am currently not taking any new clients. I cannot maintain the spiritual life I wish to lead and keep secrets at the same time. I have an older male friend who also hobbies...we get together occasionally to discuss things that may or may not be hobby related. I have another friend in Vegas that doesn't hobby but is sometimes curious about the hobby.

I can't see how talking about the hobby with friends is any less anonymous than seeing a new provider for the first time. Anyone...I mean anyone, can out you and its much more likely that a person who doesn't know me will out me than one who does.

I understand that. But these guys are in the same social circle as me or my civie friends. I'm just paranoid that they will talk amongst friends who are also my friends, too. I will lose face and reputation socially.
