Chella your opinion is just fine, I do not stop anyone from posting their opinion as long as it is done in a respectful and polite manner, that's all. Calling someone a "dumbass" is not respectful nor polite. Saying someone has an "L" on their forehead again is disrespectful. I really do not know if you understand that or not, but again what you understand and do not is not my issue nor is it the topic of this discussion. That goes for everyone not just Chella.

So, lets get back on topic or yes I will close it.

Thank you Dallas for helping her on how to screen. I have to agree with anyone that says SCREEN. If a lady does not screen me or ask for info I do not see her, just me.

I know outdoors, and I stated I was prob too harsh, and well after a few drinks I got a lil too honest and didnt filter it out. I still think what I think, whether I state it nicely or otherwise. This foxx chick has done it before, same old story, then playing the pity card. If you arent screening the whats the point of being on the boards, or deff p411? Even new ladies know that, and she isnt new. The excuse is total BS, and just like you Outdoors, Dilbert is one of the good guys in the hobby. Im sure you guys assume if she has p411 and verified provider status on these sites which can be a pain to get that she is screening and knows who she is seeing. Doesnt make any sense and I called BS. Maybe she will learn something, maybe not. But oh well.

First: Dilbert... I, too, am sorry to hear that happened. It sucks to waste your time like that. I hope your next attempt with the next lady is better than what you hope for 10 fold.

Though it was already addressed...Giiiirl, please PLEASE ask for help on screening if need be. Use your resources (other ladies, other threads about screening, etc). Screening is INVALUABLE and not something you should let slide. Ever.

Really? If he had been someone dangerous to you, he certainly wouldn't have told you if he wasn't alone. This is the point of checking references and screening your clients. You need to know who you're dealing with, just like they need to know whether you're legit. Leaving out most of the screening process doesn't really scream "legit" in my opinion.

I don't know Dilbert personally, and I've only seen his posts on threads where I've posted, but I do know one thing...I would have asked him whether he was on here (or any other board for that matter), checked his screen name and posts. Its important to know where a gentleman finds you. Had you asked, his response would have indicated that there was more to see about him (i.e. posts, P411 oks, references based on reviews he's done, etc). There is a world of information that is helpful for screening without being too invasive for the gentleman. Help yourself and the rest of us by using it. Need help? Ask. Most ladies are happy to assist you. We can't trust you if we don't know that you are diligent in protecting yourself and your clients.

That's because it was the best way! I dunno how she would miss that you were a P411 member if she replied to your P411 message.

I recently saw a provider, she told me that after she looked at my profile, and checked my ok list, she was satisfied with what she found and didn't bother to contact the other ladies for references.

that's how she screened me, so YMMV!

I just posted about that kind of BS last week. I think that's a shame. There are sooo many other things you need to ask a reference besides "is he ok".

so, please, next time, do your homework. less aggravation this way.
