How were these calls "shady"? What did the guys say? Did they act like they were setting appointments then giving them the runaround? Did they just call and hang up? Did they cuss them out? Did they mention ros parts of review? What exactly were these "shady" calls about?

99% of calls could be called "shady". Be more specific.

Just post your reviews. Ladies in the biz get unwanted calls all the time whether you yourself review or not love. If a lady/provider posts ads its just part of all that comes with the biz. Unwanted or wanted attention is something women cant escape.
Feeling responsible is soooo sweet, but unnecessary.
Tell the ladies to screen before giving out their own / work #. Just n idea

Ok....I am gonna state the stupidest most simple thought here.
Why not post your reviews and in the spot for their number say "will provide"????

If you posting their number is causing grief then don't do it.
If they post their own number then harassing/shady calls are to be expected and I am sure they are aware of that.

Am I missing something? ?

Reviews without contact info in the correct place will not receive PA credit. If a reader has to search on how to contact, no credit.

This is different from the past. I've written reviews that simply said "will provide" in the phone # area and given P411, website, email and ECCIE links to the provider and received credit.
Some providers, don't give out their phone numbers until after they have completed their screening and ask that you do not disclose that number on reviews. I don't thinck that is unreasonable.

Many men have reviewed me and never put my number... they have received credit. If she has a website, P441 link, or eccie link...he can add those as contact info. I am obviously no mod but Boardman is correct... unless something has changed a phone number is not REQUIRED.

A phone number is not required. But if there is no contact info, it will not fly. Note that I did not say they all had to be filled out. You would be surprised how many will say will provide on the phone and then nothing else. Gotta be a way to contact.

On a secon note.... Haha good try... I'm not falling for that one!!! Lets just say I assume they get credit for them... Out of all 32 of my reviews, not one number is listed but yet most (if not everyone) has/had PA. Just an assumption on my part. I would also assume that if it were required this would not be the first time I am hearing this.
Now, back to my obvious, simple,dumb statement above...if putting her number causes her grief, then don't put it.....just put an email or link.

Your reply seemed to imply that a phone number is required since that was the specific response that ASOJ was replying to. Otherwise why make the statement at all?
