Thanks for taking the time to review our efforts here and the great info you gave via PM. I will put that info to use.

At some point in time this will all go underground. Nothing about when or where will appear here or anywhere else. All communication will be handled via email by a select few. Local LE will not know anything. Anyone receiving an email will already have been heavily screened.

I suggest, especially to the gents, that if they wish to be considered for screening and an invite they post here in this thread their desire to attend. Or PM me, at least for the time being, your desire. Again at some point I will not be the contact person. I will also not be involved with the actual screening at any time. I'm only here to try and keep this moving forward and do the local legwork.

The cover story for what ever venue is chosen will be up to me. I ask that no suggestions be made to me by any means. The less LE knows, the better.

Looking at the map it is quite a large area. I guess I never looked before and was thinking a 20 mile area but it is huge. I am looking forward to see this fly.

Population is around 180K spread out over 2 side by side cities. Biggest employer by far is Texas A&M.

I was at Fort Hood the summer of 1959 for basic training and have always wanted to tour the post again. I look forward to seeing all of you. I will stock up on silver dollars just in case some of the ladies are not commando.

In talking with a lady I've seen several times who is based out of Houston she tells me that guys regularly come see her that are also in Houston. But they sometimes have to drive an hour and a half to do so. And that's in Houston traffic. Yuck!

I have another that is mainly in either BCS or Austin tell me guys regularly come see her from one or the other, typically a 2 hour drive.

It's not so far fetched to say Waco/Killeen/BCS is a large neighborhood.

Sorry that nothing has been posted about this in some time now.

The planning has moved into a new phase in that ck1942 has agreed to lend his considerable expertise to this endeavor. It has also moved into being conducted in total privacy.

Invite lists are being put together. The date has yet to be determined but once done invitees will receive the date and time by private means a week or so in advance. The location will be revealed to invitees the day before the event.

A private sub forum has been established on another site for the planners. I ask that no further discussion be held in this thread or anywhere else on this site. If you have not voted in the poll please do so. Any questions or comments should come to me or ck via email or PM. Should you wish to become involved in the planning again contact one of us privately.
