He was a one of a kind classic. Loved him in 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' and on countless TV shows.

He was great at improve, the toughest, riskiest comedy there is.
It can be ether funny as hell or fall flat. His was always funny.

Default R.I.P., Jonathan Winters

Comedic genius!

I'll never forget It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, although I haven't seen it since it first came out almost 50 years ago. Hilarious stuff! I think I'll log in to Netflix and watch it again soon.

Know what you guys mean! If someone had asked me I probably would have said that I had no idea, but would have guessed that he'd passed on. It's hard to remember who has died, and who has not. Once a lady walked up to a very elderly gentleman and said, "Has anyone ever told you that you bear a striking resemblance to the late Walter Cronkite?" (But it really was Walter Cronkite. Oops!)

And Jonathan Winters did not exactly have the sort of physique one associates with the likelihood of living past 75 or 80. But then Jim Fixx died at 52, while Winston Churchill lived to be 90. So ya never know!

I never saw that version of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". with JW.

The one I saw had Zero Mostel and Phil Silvers.

I wonder now that he's gone if Jim Carrey will make a video
about him.

Jimbo seems to be jealous of people who had real talent
that have passed away.

There was a Jonathon Winters interview on TV years ago that was too funny. Jonathon by himself was entertaining but when Robin Williams stepped into the interview all bets were off. They played off each other and it was a shame they did not keep the cameras rolling indefinitely.
