Obama calls them too rich also. Yes, in 2010 the GOP had elected more new women and "people of color" candidates to national office than the Socialists Dems but it got almost zero play in the press.

Personally, I don't like the wackos on either end of the spectrum, but I have to admit the ones on the right are dumber than the ones on the left.

I've been listening to drone after drone about how the Reps need to attract more minorities, but they don't want to change their message to do so. Even this post thinks it's all about the color or gender of the candidate.

Listen, stupid brain calcified morons: it ISN'T the color of your candidates; IT'S THE ANGER OF YOUR MESSAGE! But since you don't believe me, or don't believe the overwhelming number of non-old-white-males who vote against the rep message, keep putting up candidates who won't win.

I really DO want a GOOD, ELECTABLE Rep because I want better than Obama. But so long as the RWWs have control of the party, that isn't likely to happen. Hell, put ExNYer on the microphone and he's probably up your votes 10% in the first 6 months. The gay marriage item is one. The Rep insistence on throwing people on the street because there are some welfare frauds ia another. The Rep views that "if you can't afford medical help for your kids, you're not trying hard enough" is another--and I DON'T like Obama care, but conservative unwillingness to address the problem handed Obamacare to the liberals on a silver platter.

Quit being stupid, quit trying to make the Rep party the Southern Baptist party, AND PUT UP A REPUBLICAN WHO DOESN'T GET PERCEIVED AS A FASCIST SCUM!!!

But no, watch the numer of replies claiming that I'm a flaiming liberal, that the Reps just got too liberal, that they need to return to their RWW base, etc. Keep irt up and the Dem nomination will be the presidential election. And personally, I find that scary.

I suppose if you base the idea of diversity on skin color instead of thought (Dr. King would be very disappointed in you) then the democrats are more diverse but they all have to march in lock step. Not the recent Chicago state house elections. A black man ran and was a democrat. He was pro-life and pro-second amendment. The progressive democratic establishment was outraged. Same thing to find when you go on campus and gather the democrats together. They all sing from the same hymnal. You find reasoned diversity in the GOP but not enough yet. There are GOP officials who are pro life and pro choice, pro gun control and pro liberty, conservative and liberal. Dr. King's dream is slowly coming true in the GOP. Don't forget Mia Love and Princessa Jones.

You miss the point. The Rep message is lost in the screaming of anger that the apolitical majority sees. And it is not just "the liberal media", it is how the rep candidates speak and portray themselves to voters who don't listen to the distorions of left or right.

That diversity you speak of might actually exist, but when I drive cross country and hear eight RW radio programs they are absolutely reading off the same script, a script that doesn't seem to let some of those rep factions speak.

The liberal Reps get about as much run as the conservative dems. Very little.

JD missing a point is supposed to be breaking news? It would have been noteworthy if he actually understood your point.

Another clueless Rep. It isn't the Dem Socialists you need to convince--you will never convince them, just like they won't convince you. It's the great mass in the middle that is sees the immage of the Rep message as angry old men.

Until the Reps learn that, you have no real chance.

Wake up!
