Default Phone

Well, I just have the best luck with Sprint phones. My phone once again has died. I don't have a backup phone, so if anyone tries to contact me....PM me or leave a voicemail. I'm checking my voicemail hourly. I should have a phone tomorrow or Weds early afternoon at the latest. Thanks.

Hi MsE! Do you have one of sprints Android phones? My Samsung is a POS. I've had 2 Android phones with sprint.. Both of which seemed to fall apart after about 6 months, especially after an op system upgrade. I'm thinking about the iphone 5... You might want to consider the same thing.

I haven't had any problems with my Android, but it's a Verizon. Not sure if that matters or not.

The phone has been replaced. I have to have the worst luck with cell phones. Both of my phones have now been replaced 4 times since Aug. I'm hoping this phone will last at least a year. But, I will say that Sprint has been pretty good to me with the phones.

Yes, I do have an android....the Samsung G III. I have a chance to get an Iphone, but I have to make sure its through Sprint. I don't want to break my contract with them.

Iphones are okay for the average user. However if you are tech savvy IMHO you might be better with a droid. I have found it is easier to find apps for droid. Also Apple's business practices to me are a little unethical. that being said apples products are reliable. HTC makes good stuff. In my IT dept that is the most common phone.

I have a heavy duty Otterbox case on my phone. Had a Motorola Droid for 2 years, and have had a Motorola Razr Max for about 5 months. No problems.

Hell, I still don't even know how to use half the stuff on my GIII. I have a new Ipod that I still don't know how to use everything that's on it.....I'd hate to see how I would handle an Iphone. LOL

I need to take a class or have someone teach me the basics of these android phones. I don't know what half the stuff is on my phone.

Android 2.2 and 2.3 had issues on the Samsung Galaxy platform. 2.4 and later seem ok and on th. Motorola RAZR, pretty solid reviews.

MsE - that camera is the only thing you really need :-)

Ahh the camera, essential on a phone in case you see a UFO or a Sasquatch. Then you can get a grainy photo for proof.

I think the cameras on smartphones are just for die hard facebookers who need to take photos and update their status all them time with snapshots.

I use my camera on the phone all time time. I have taken pictures of controller boards at work to send off to the experts for help. I have taken pictures of items I know family members are looking for if I see them for sale. Every once in a while you see a scene that is just great and you want a photo to share. Back in the day before I had a camera on my phone walking back to work from the old market lunch I saw an empty street with a lone school bus parked in front of the Bittersweet with the neon girl flashing etc. For me is was a great amusing scene that have memory of but can not share. So having that camera has come quite in handy.
