You asked me if I had "dual citizenship" because I was mentioning something about your mistaken beliefs in order to ease some of your paranoia?

The "people" you are concerned about cannot legally vote in this country and most probably will not be able to for a long period of time ... although their offspring born in this country may well be able to do so in the foreseeable future. Just like a lot of other folks who come here to live and decide they want to stay and be a part of all this wonderment and opportunity. Most of the one's I've met during my lifetime came here to make some dough, send some home, and then go back when they have had enough.

Kind of like the U.S. citizens in Algeria, who just got their butts kicked.

It's not an "invasion" ... either. In fact in recent years, due to the economic downturn in this country, many are returning home where there is more work, and fewer assholes to dismiss them and refer to them as being less in status than they. Sort of looking down on them. Just because you were born "North" of them, doesn't make you any better a person or smarter, any more than some dipshit graduate from a low rung college like Sarah-Cruse (NY) is smarter than a farm boy from South Texas ....

Just before an election (within a year) there is a "dialogue" about doing something about "immigration," and then another topic takes center stage post-election to consume the air .. and nothing gets done. It is pandering for the votes of the Hispanic voters in this country.

There are approximately ten to fifteen million people in the "Hispanic community" that need to go home and get a job in Mexico or Central America. America's low skilled jobs should be done by American citizens currently living on welfare. We can't afford to continue providing health care and free education for people who came here illegally.
