I'll kick this off with a posted lie by one of the most prolific liars.....I mean posters, on this site.

Obamacare Medical Device Tax: As of Jan.1, Obamacare imposes a new tax of 2.3 percent on medical device manufacturers, including those who make dental braces. The tax is imposed on gross sales -- even if the company does not earn a profit in a given year. While the tax will be paid to the IRS by the manufacturer, the tax will be passed along as a higher cost of the product, ultimately to be borne by the parent buying the braces for their child. With the cost of braces being as high as $7,625 this new tax could raise the cost of these braces by $175. (OP Note: This applies to all medical equipment. Even for veterinarians.)

As usual, I only had to read your first example to find the flaw.

Of $7625, a very small % is the cost of some wire, some small glue-on anchors, etc.

$7000 plus of the cost is for the skills of the doctor, x-rays, office help, office rental, etc.

The bigger concern is the feds have created a sales tax in effect. The cost has to be passed on to the consumer since it is not a tax on profits. The company has to collect it so they can be sure they have it to pay to the IRS. The end consumer will not see it so it is another hidden tax. What will be next?

The tax is on ALL medical devices. This was just one example. However, ALL medical devices will incur the tax. That is a tax on the middle class. If someone is lying here, it is Obama, and his supporters.

BTW, your veterinarian bills will increase, since the tax applies to their medical equipment as well.

The first example given was wrong. Do you deny that? I'm sure the rest are truthful though........right.

Once again you have failed to do more than an attempted deflection. The fact are all contained in that first example including the lie.

The medical devices cost for braces is minimal. Everyone but you knows that.

It's still a tax on us. It will be more than $10.00 on $7500.00.

Looks like you have dick on the brain. Braces don't cost $7500 asshole. The medical devices used in braces cost less than $500. The rest is labor, office help, etc.

Let me give you an example you might understand because I'll use the car you drive.

It's going to freeze tonight. Normally you don't use anti-freeze cause you don't want to. You decide to buy some at walmart but you get all hot and distracted by the 85 yo greeter and forget.

That night as your 77 camero with the 305 sits in the vacant lot next to your trailer, the water in your engine freezes and pushes all of your freeze plugs out, including the ones on the back side of the engine in front of the clutch housing.
You end up paying your sister $1800 in labor to replace 8 $1.50 parts. (You know she's fucking your wife too, don't you?)

COG typed the amount in the braces example as being as much as $175 on a $7K plus orthodontic appliance that costs only a few dollars from the manufacturer! HE OUT AND OUT LIED to inflate the REAL cost to the consumer. $300 worth of stainless steel and wire might cost the consumer an extra 6 or 7 DOLLARS - not 175 DOLLARS!
