I have used them a few times with the SO. She didn't like them, but I did. Putting them takes a little effort but can be fun if you look at it as part of foreplay/pussyplay. They are not made of latex and transmit heat better than latex. You need a LOT of lube as there is no natural lube. I hate the feel of being squeezed by a condom and feel like I am taking a shower wearing a raincoat and all the other cliches about using condoms. As for guys who say it is like fucking a plastic bag with a female condom I don't see that as being any different from wrapping up in latex. Bare back feels a thousand times better than any cover, but as that is not an option in the hobby I think the female condom feels a lot closer to the real thing than being squeezed in latex.

Having started this thread a while ago I thought I'd report back on my first female condom experience.

The application/insertion process was no more of an interruption to the flow of our activities than putting on a normal condom

I could feel the rubber ring against my pubic bone during CG grinding, but didn't find it a problem - mostly because...

...the overall sensation was WAY more "natural" than with a normal cover...

There were no problems with noise or slipping

Clearly this would not be the product to use when engaging in anal play...I can't imaging how the insertion would work...lol

Overall, I prefer this to a standard cover.

I've used them with 2 or 3 providers now and have liked them but I've always had problems because of my girth with a regular condom riding up.
They r more trouble to install and very important they are put in right but they don't strangle you like regular condom and gives u more of a feel of bareback to me..but most women don't like them or don't offer to use them.
Each to their own I guess...I can see both sides of this argument.
It's all about finding something you both like !

I finally decided to try these and now are my new favorite thing!

I have used them on a few occasions, but dont even pack them when I travel any longer.

And here is what I have found:

1) they are hard to get in.. so you will have to excuse me while I sit in the bathroom for several minutes, because there is NOTHING sexy about contouring, and your hand to the moon trying to get it in position.

2) it covers.. everything. Your lips, clit, all of it is behind the plastic. So you cant be going back and forth between sex and DATY. Finish one treat, before the other.

3) He has to be a average to less than average size to use it safely. If you are on the large side, you can push it in really easily, and then you are both screwed.. and not in a fun way.

4) you need to use lube for him, as when using a male condom, girls can tell when things are getting dry, as we can feel it. With a female condom, we cant feel it, so it will be up to him to let you know when some extra moisture is needed.
