The question should be how do you allow open discussion in your local community going forward. You need to allow and encourage decenting opinions. If you have a vibrant dialogue of diverging points of view, you won't have the perception of power in the hands of a few.

You need to take control of your level of participation in the community and not allow some modtard to decide that for you.....many have been the occasions I have called a modtard out in open forum for some bullshit authoritative comment he made in open forum.......more than one has told me to discuss it with him in PM.......fuck that shit......he says bullshit in open forum, he gets called on it in open forum.

Some have called this thread useless because no provider has come forward. The reason for that is simple,fear that a person or persons will retaliate. That silence has been deafening. On the other hand, even louder than the silence if those who might speak to their detriment is the silence of those who might speak and benefit by it.

This thread has definitely raised awareness. I for one have learned a lot and would not have known there was an issue without it. I have not hobbied in months so my research and board watching have been a little lax.

As someone who has been away for several months and has spent some time just catching up it I have to say the silence speaks volumes. Given your comments in some other threads the fact you started this one confirms what your "detective work" has come up with,

This thread is in no way "useless", it in the very least has informed others of the proper way to handle "delicate" issues that they would otherwise have no knowledge of. And as for the deafening silence, the adage about ducks on the pond comes to mind... on the surface the ducks glide across the water, while underneath, they are kicking like mad. IF there is any merit to the rumors, the ones with the proof should be submitting it, not posting it here.
