We stayed friends and even sat and talked about it a few times while drinking a beer when I was seeing her mom.

Oh yes, there are always the 'Judgers' in every crowd, all too ready to offer their insightful, self-appointed dutiful opinions designed to make themselves feel better and perhaps, larger than the rest. But... I dont think the idea here is to breed the mom/ daughter, rather to have a flagrante delicto with the two.
