That's a big fucking surprise ... A campaign commercial being snubbed by the Academy. So was Flight 86. Go figure. At least it made Breitbart!

Is there a "Propaganda" category at the Academy Awards?

Apparently so. And it nominates only the propaganda of the left.

It was an enjoyable movie with a compelling story to be told. The story on Obama that the MSM doesn't want to tell us.

"a sobering documentary examining "the most mysterious U.S. president in modern history" or an 87-minute attack ad, there's no debating that the film is a box office phenomenon."

The film maker had no understanding of Causation. He was basically making a point that the Rooster was the reason the Sun came up in the morning. It was embarassing that folks actually believed that shit but then again not many folks in the GOP believe in true science! Causation is not a word familiar to you guys!

Your living in an alternative universe. The underlying theme of the film was "causation."

It analyzed Obama's present day attitudes and political thinking based on his life experiences, mentors, and up bringing. A classical definition of causation analysis.

You obviously were not paying attention, or did not see the movie.

I saw the movie and it was like I said....their conclusion was that Obama's father who he met once , was this huge influnce on his life! What a joke. Like I said, the movie was nothing more than them coming up with the theory that the Rooster's crowing is the reason the Sun rises! If you believe so, fine!

I never got around to seeing that movie. I am sure some of the information is quite accurate.

I think Obama's father has had an enormous effect on his life because Barack has made his father a sort of idol. Ironically, his father may have been an even bigger influence because of his absense. It's a lot easier to attribute noble qualities to a ghost than to a living person.

Conservative whiners in full roar about their silly film not getting an Oscar nomination. How predictable. There are a lot of reasons that this awful movie wasn't nominated for an Oscar. Mostly, it's because it sucked....but, it's filled with demonstrable lies, it's pure propaganda based mostly on those lies, it received shitty reviews from everybody except the wingers and it's director is a certifiable nut with a long history of bizarre statements and behavior.

It's laughable to watch idiots like Whirlyturd pretend to be film critics. If the conservatives don't like the decisions by the Academy, they should form their own film award association and give awards to conservative propaganda shows, films, etc. They formed their own propaganda news network, why not let them pretend their films merit legitimate artistic consideration? Same as pretending that Fox is a real news network with real journalists that actually report the news.

Truth telling isn't the standard for documentary nominations by the Academy.

We know the Moore film, Bowling for Columbine was full of lies and propaganda.

Nominations have everything to do with political correctness, NOT the truth.

Are you so dumb Timmyboy to believe otherwise ?

I'll say this for the movie ... It sure changed people's lives!

What a loony tune, D'Souza is!

I suppose you believe it should be nominated based on its special effects? Why the fuck should any movie be nominated by the academy at all?

How did the film do abroad? Cannes? London?

You're a fucking idiot Whirlyturd. Can you find anything you don't whine about? I can't.
