insert link

I can insert a link say from p411 but how do I get the url to insert a link from an eccie thread.

I go to the site, thread, etc that I want to insert.
Hilite the url.
Control + C to copy.
Paste in the post I am writing.

You may also do it this way...

Enter this...

[URL=URL of Web Page]Link Label[/URL]

For example...

This...

[URL=www.foxnews.com]Fox News[/URL]

Will produce this...

Fox News

Nothing to it.

what i couldnt find was the url on the eccie page that I was trying to insert, I think i found it by going to that page and right clicking and then a few more steps that I dont remember right now. I will just have to try and see what happens.

You are welcome.

You can always get the URL of the page you are viewing by copying it from the browser's address bar at the top of the browser's window. You can also right click on a link and choose copy to copy the URL it references to the clipboard.
