I never give out personal information, but I do not question any provider for demandng it. Both parties are taking risks. However, since the average number of hobbyists a provider sees is typically much larger than the average number of providers a hobbyist sees, her risks are somewhat higher.

If you base risk on the number or clients a single provider see's versus the number of providers a single hobbyist see's, then I suppose you could surmise the provider takes the higher risk. Keep in mind though, that every "trick" involves ONE provider and ONE hobbyist. (lets assume one on one appts.)

But if you base it on an individual hobbyist's risk versus that of a provider, then you also have to factor in how much that particular hobbyist has to lose compared to that individual provider. Let's ask Eliot Spitzer this question and see what answer he has for us. I would say it is a pretty safe bet that most guys feel their security is more important than anyone elses. Everyone should alwyas be looking out for number one. If you are not, then you have far greater issues.

Both providers AND clients should feel safe. It is a 2-way street.

GP, we are in agreement. There are two considerations: (a) the amount of risk that the other party will turn out to be bad news, and (b) the amount to lose when that happens. Because of (a), I can understand why a provider wants to be very careful. Because of (b), I never give out personal information.

For the record...I don't share that info. Period. If that means I don't see a specific provider...there certainly are lots of fish in the sea....so back to casting the net.

I also find it curious that many providers get SO annoyed or insulted about this issue. Yet, many girls are unstable...Not lots and lots...but probably more than a few....and all it takes for the downward spiral to turn into a crash and burn is one bad night of debauchery...then the girl with all your personal info is enagaging in the prohibited topic and is beyond rational thinking. Ever see a bunch of individuals in the throws of 'the prohibited topic' ...scheme to get more money for more.prohibited stuff? I know it might seem like a stretch...but many have been there and understand the depths of depravity after a long night! Imagine "dude...this guy has lots of cash...and I know where he lives and works!!" Next either the break-ins or blackmail begins and all for a piece of ass. Thanks....but , no thanks.

I agree, and it goes both ways also. I had a regular go all true grit and unstable on me. He did not have my real life info, so he couldn't out me to my family. I think if you don't want someone to have your real life information, it's best to cough up the dough and join P411. It's very dangrous for a lady to meet a gent without some, ANY, form of screening. I think if guys want to stay annonymous to the ladies, then P411 is a must.

I have never heard it called an "acetylene cutter" before. Maybe you mean Oxygen-Acetylene cutting outfit or simply a cutting torch?
