SLACKER the classic Indie film by Richard Linklater.
Considered by many to be the Godfather of modern
Indie films, shot in Austin for about $300 or something.
He follows people around with a camera and goes from
one group of people to the next, creating the illusion that
it is all real and not scripted, you can't help but get interested
in the different characters portrayed in the film. My favorites
are the conspiracy guy and the guy who's time is up.
The film is partly credited for being responsible for the reality
TV craze, it has been said that it influenced the idea.
Also the name of the film is where the term Slacker originated.
Great Movie.
