You are correct about 538! Unlike Rasmussen, Nate Silver was spot on! Rasmussen was spot off! You have to hand it to Nate, he has the most precise final tabulation method of anyone in the business!

Another excellent source was Real Clear Politics. With the possible exception of Florida, RCP accurately picked the final electoral count. RCP had Florida going to Romney by less than a single percentage point. It appears it will go to Obama by approximately the same, slim margin! In any event, RCP was very close!

And Whirly, RCP accurately predicted throughout the entire 2012 election season that:

Wisconsin was "trending" Obama all along!

Are you even aware of the report (or do you even care) that Silver was given access to the inside polls of the Obama campaign? Kind of easy to predict things when you have the teams playbook. I'd to see this guy's system work without the unfair advantage.

JD, we can debate methodology 'till the cows come home. What matters is results and Nate Silver delivered. It doesn't matter how he got there, only that he was closer than anyone else!

duh, jdbarleywhine, was 538 right or not? If he WAS - which is certain - then WHO had the correct data - Obama or Romney?

Take your fu*king checkers off of my chess board, grab your ankles and prepare to get run over by superior personnel, data and intelligence. Oh, wait! That happened already on Tuesday - sorry (not), my bad...heh heh heh.

Get back to work, the Student Union basement needs mopping.

Are you saying Obama's poll is more accurate than Rasmussen? Actually he will not reveil his program.but he uses several polls.

Obama knew which votes would be counted, even though they weren't actually cast. 140% turnout in St. Lucie County, Florida? Really? Several precincts in Cleveland voting 100% for Obama? Seriously?

Yeah, Obama's polls were the best.

bigtex...you sure could be right, lol

I would probably go with the theory that you pulled them out of his ass...but that old Karl Marx is a tricky one.

Guess it would go to show further proof that Obama isn't a Marxist
