The "MSM" didn't contribute to that process -- it was a very brutal Primary process that was much more driven by the Candidates and their political machines than any other factor. We saw it for almost any "non traditional" Republican in the running. It was much more "whack-a-mole" by the other Candidates and their operatives than anything that can be attributed to "MSM".
