Usually after I've seen someone a few times, we end up discussing familial stuff. Hell, I've gout a couple who are more like friends. One, actually calls or texts me for "mommy"/basic illness advice when he's home with his child, as a single dad. Plus, I have a slight medical background and also workl healthcare. Really it depends on the comfort level.

I always meet someone who asks the proverbial, "how in the world did someone like you end up in this?" I think the expected answer is 'nymphomania', 'I love sex', 'It's fun', etc. But I tell the truth and it involves family. If you don't want to hear about it, don't ask. However I find that the Reader's Digest version of events is satisfactory in the sense A) It doesn't kill the mood. B) I'm never asked to elaborate. So everybody happy! ^__^

It just depends i guess. If they bring it up fine. But me personally i am a mom and have no problem if asked about my little ones. But if im not asked i dont bring them up.

That's a little harsh on her part. But I felt the same way at one point dealing with a gentleman who was married to a trophy wife, had a GF (that I actually met... awkward) and a well kept mistress AND want to hobby with me..... seriously, why not just be a polygamist?

The only times this has happened I was asking about some tattoos, and she said they were the names of her kids. For some reason that's a boner killer.

Then there's this time I called up a provider and her kid was screaming a tantrum over the phone. That was a deal-breaker.

Now when they call me over to play while the wife is out grocery shopping, and will be back in 2 hours, while he (the client) is taking care of the the kid, who is watching tv downstairs or playing video games is in the next room, and in one case, actually attempted to introduce me to their kid before we went upstairs to "work on a project" NOW THAT'S weird and very uncomfortable to me... and = "I have to go....bye!"
I am not comfortable with meeting people's kids, I don't have kids, I don't want kids, and them being anywhere near our "adult playtime" just seems very inappropriate to me. I have a few hard limits, and THATS ONE OF THEM.
