Well, I didn't say providers were hesitant to see clients on Valentine's Day, only that another provider claimed that clients might be unable or unwilling to see providers on that day. You may be an outlier. Or small sample issues may apply; it was only one provider I was talking/texting to about the subject last year.
I can see where the potential V-Day client base is limited, since clients who are married or in serious relationships would have hoops to jump through to see a provider on what is a special date for wives and girlfriends.
I don't have that problem; I just have An Inconsiderate Employer who thinks that my job duties are more important than having an 1.5-3 hour pretend intimate relationship that day. Hell, they probably think that what I do for them would be more important than a real relationship; fortunately for them I'm neither married nor attached, so when my boss said "Do you have any special plans for Monday the 14th?" I didn't.
