Valentines Day???

What do you do Valentines day??? Do you see a provider?? Or do you just spend it with your wife??What kind of gift do you give to your wife and or provider you see??

Frankly, as a single person who hasn't been in a relationship in almost ten years, I believe that the sole purpose of Valentines Day is so the people who are in relationships and/or who are getting some regularly can rub it in the faces of those of us who aren't. (Me? Bitter and cynical? How can you tell?)

Last year on Valentine's Day, I watched a Discovery Channel special on dinosaur sex (I'm not making this up; you can find the posts from a year ago where I talk about it around here and/or in the Arkansas forums). This year, I'm working late, sleeping alone, and not seeing any providers. Pretty much like every other night of the year.

I have to agree with BCG. Being single can be lonely but it does have its perks. For Valentine's Weekend, I plan on going drag racing and making money. However, my Valentine's to me won't be in town until the following weekend.

I can vouch for the dinosaur sex show because I saw you a day or so before and you were telling me all about it lol. I sure hate I missed that.

If I had been thinking that weekend (which is something I so rarely do I'm not at all surprised that I wasn't) I'd have asked if you'd have been willing to stay in Memphis Sunday night and we could have watched together.

It was an interesting show if you were fascinated with dinosaurs as a kid (and what former kid wasn't? ). I should check to see if they're going to re-run it this year, though V-Day is on a Monday, and if I can get out of work soon enough Monday night is Top Gear night (which is highly likely to be what I may be doing in between "working late" and "sleeping alone").

Really? I happened to be chatting via IM (or maybe text messages) with a provider friend last Valentine's Day evening, and she was "complaining" about being alone. IIRC, she said that "Valentine's Day is for wives and girlfriends, not providers..."

I've seen clients on V day.... I don't need one day out of the whole year to tell me SO that I love him or visa versa..... We do that everyday..

So I don't mind seeing my guys/clients on V day.... I did an overnight on V day two years ago.....

Plus, I don't get into holidays much......
