Default Is it rude to ask?

Is it rude to ask a provider if she smokes and if so, if she has a smoking room?
I don't know if this is important to anyone else, but I really don't go anywhere during a normal day that would bring me in close contact with smoke. And - I really can't afford to smell like it.

The reason I asked is because I've noticed in some reviews a provider will be listed as a non-smoker in one review, a "couldn't tell" in another, and a smoker in yet another. There is even one review where the client was really put off by the smoke smell, and the next review listed the provider as a
non-smoker.

Any thoughts?

I'd say if that would be a deal breaker for you then by all means ask! You are paying for the service.

I wouldn't be offended at all, and most providers shouldn't be, so please ask. I don't smoke and have a difficult time being in close proximity to cigarettes, so cannot allow smoking in my apartment. However, I have spent a lot of time and money making my huge, private garden patio lovely and inviting, installing a retractable cover against hot sun and cold rain (and so we can sit out there naked without any of the neighbors above able to see), an outdoor electric outlet so I can put up pretty lights and plug in a CD player for music, furnishing it with wrought iron bench, chair, and table, enhancing with attractive bushes and trees in giant urns and pots along with hanging plants, all starting to flower beautifully for the spring (and I chose low-pollen, low allergy greenery), decorating with melodious chimes and little statues, and I'm still making improvements. I even have a vintage 1950's rolling BBQ in case we want to toss burgers or steak on the pit. I pridefully say that I bet I have one of the best provider "smoking rooms" in Houston.

I agree with the guys on this one!! To be blunt....you are not going to pay for something you don't want and if you don't want smoking say so! On this topic I have heard some gents mention some providers smoking while they were on a date with them. I personally don't smoke but, even if I did I can NOT imagine sitting around puffin on a cigarette trying to be sexy lol. Just not my thing I guess.

It's not even remotely rude to ask. Not only is it your money, it's your discretion at stake. It's no different than asking a provider if she wears perfume (or asking her not to wear perfume). The only problem is you can't ask a smoker not to smell like smoke, even after their clothes are washed you can still smell it as a non-smoker.

there is nothing wrong with asking before you see a provider as for me i am a smoker but i dont smoke before i see a provider i also have an electric cig so if i have to have a cig i just use the electric cig. I do this just to be respectful of the provider im seeing. If the provider is a non smoker and ymmv type of provider i want the best experiance possible for the both of us. I also let a provider know that i am a smoker before hand also so there are no suprises.

So please do I do not smoke or do outcalls where smoking is allowed. one time i was forced to get a smoking room UGHHHHHHHHHHH
