I'm sure that quite a few ECCIEites taking in the faire probably don't want to be recognized, but for those that do, the problem is thinking up a symbol that would be noticeable yet inconspicuous, blend with the theme of the event, and work for both guys and gals. Nothing coming to mind. I can always wear my dangling ear cuff with a naked woman copulating with the moon, but I think most anyone on here would recognize me no matter what I wore. Won't be many 6-ft pale redheaded wenches carrying colorful dragons.

Oh, you aren't going with the right gal pal if you can't sneak a wee peek of pink peaks. The festival's quite large, and there are areas a lass can find to to pop out of a corset. I was squired by Tucson and a few other naughty knights out there last year on my Fancy RenFest Private Guided Tours. One eve after sunset I was bent over an altar in one of the garden chapels, a literal interpretation of "Oh, God!" I won't tell you what I did in the water garden another eve, but something other than the fountain was spurting.
Yes, it has gotten more expensive (as has everything else in our entire lives) and TRF is more commercial and aggressive in promotion, but still tons o' fun. There are some great acts out there. I highly recommend Sound and Fury's last show of the day (after they've been drinking the whole afternoon), the chainmail fashion show following the noon parade, and the group Tartanic for amazing Celtic music that will make it very difficult for your feet to stay still. Sundays, however, are not the day to go, as they have been designated as family days, last year sponsored by Coca Cola with a bunch of free tickets given out.

Speaking of nerdy crap, Dallas comic con coming up in May. Patrick stewart and stan lee headlining.

JUst be sure you visit the private showings (not his last large forum shows) of Christof the Insulter. Bring cash and a thick shell. I assure you he's worth the time and money, he may even insult your fiancée so bad she won't marry you.
He and I have history. Lol

You should go. It would be a novelty to see a horse's ass riding a horse's ass.

I let my penis hang out of my leather all afternoon.
Does that count?

A few of us rennies had a discussion about identifying insignia maybe five years ago -- that is, how can we identify ourselves as members of Hobby World but stay semi-authentic in our renfest apparel?
I suggested these pewter reproductions of Medieval pins:
Pussy Royale Badge
Flying Cock Badge
They're available on the Revival Clothing web site for a mere $9 each:
Pewter Pins and Badges by Fettered Cock Pewters

I like 'em! The Lovers Badge would be okay, too.
What do you think, Tucson?

The lovers badge would fit for both of us. Should I get them on order?

Thanks ShysterJon we decided on the lovers pin. It will fit as a UTR symbol. Nicole I have three on order. I am about ready except for some rope sandals. Ladies I will be available to hear your confession and offer penance.
