If I have arranged my schedule and set aside the time allowing for travel, then to me, I have an appointment. Seldom do they give you the exact location until you are ready to start moving . And this BS of note giving you the room number is crap! I have been approached by LE in a parking lot while waiting for the lady to give me the room number.

If we have had a conversation of a meeting, date, and time, and we've both agreed on such, then we have an appointment! Period.
The "exact address" crap is just that!

The no address no appointment is just an excuse for poor TCB. If something comes up if only takes a second to send a text or email.

I think you nailed it right there. Our schedules are busy and if we book time with you then we have gone through the effort to adjust our schedule to line up with the provider we want to see. To go radio silent is rude, but this his a hooker board and etiquette/being considerate don't exist here or in this world.

so how technical & granular do we want to get? what happens if on 2 or 3 different occasions you setup an Outcall (day and time) with some of the sexiest providers the city has to offer; willing to pay $2-3k for 8-10hrs; so she schedules the day just for you and you tell her the location / hotel name but not the room #...then you cancel at the very last minute because no room # was given. What happens to the trick that does that even one time let alone repeatedly?
How do the providers view him given that she lost out on a lot of money that day?
time is money and money is time.

I didn't vote as I'm just not sure. I honestly think this is a nebulous issue predicated by circumstances, communication, and the requirements of each provider. (Kind of like screening, as every lady chooses her own method.)
In my case, I always send a straightforward verification question, as in, "To confirm, we are getting together Tuesday the 30th at noon for 2 hours at my Spring-area incall?" If the gentlemen replies, "Yes," then this is a confirmed appointment for us both, time and date reserved on our respective calendars, even though a specific address has not yet been provided.
Since I no longer have a permanent private incall, if a few days out I may wait to provide the name and address of my hotel until the night before (gives me time to shop Trivago for a good rate, as I try to avoid no-tells), and the room number only when the fellow is on his way. (Keep in mind that we need time to check-in, and no, we don't want to risk getting stuck with a room, something that has happened to me and every other lady on the board at least once, I imagine.) If an outcall, I'm okay with waiting until the night before for that address, as well. Most of the time in either situation we just go ahead and exchange complete info to get it out of the way, but I always send a reminder the night before with expectation of an acknowledgement, and often a, "See you at ___!" the day of our Fancy fun fest. I believe in following up as if this were any other professional business transaction.
But I don't do last-minute or short-notice appointments. That's a different situation altogether.
If a gent sends a lady a same-day request such as, "Let's get together this afternoon at 2," and even includes his references right off the bat (very rare, but highly encouraged), she replies, "Sounds like a plan," or, "Should be fun," or, "Great!" but then no other messages are exchanged, no length for the session agreed upon or other necessary details discussed, fellow texts at 1:45 p.m. and asks for an address, crickets chirp, she doesn't respond, did he ever actually have an appointment? I would say not, and that she probably accepted something concrete from another source.
IF the provider specifically agrees to other details, i.e., "Yes, let's meet at 2 p.m. for 90 minutes at my place off FM 1960 and I-45. I'll text you the address when you're close," the gent agrees, and THEN hears nothing else from her as the hour nears and after repeatedly trying to contact her again, well, if I was a client I certainly would have thought this a confirmed appointment even without the address, especially after traveling our demolition derby freeways across town, and would be understandably mad.
Yes, NCNS happens, but the key to avoiding many is simply clear and continued communication on BOTH sides. How hard is that?

^ if there is no final confirmation the day of then you'd be foolish to drive out. however, if there is 'day of ' confirmation and you pull that no address crap at the last minute, again you're fired.
I shouldn't have to communicate with you every hour on the hour for the appointment to be valid but there should should be a day of confirmation. That's a reasonable expectation and if you're pulling that crap and not TCB in my view you're not worth the time.
Keep it moving

So in summary if a day and time is agreed upon and the day of you refuse to provide an address then you should be labeled a time waster with poor TCB simple as that. If you get on the interstate and start driving without knowing where you're going then hahaha.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think of it like an appointment with a doctor. Either you set the appointment while you're at the doc's office for the next visit, or you call in for an appointment. Screw the freaking address, you have SET A DATE AND TIME FOR AN APPOINTMENT to see the doctor. After that's set, it's up to you whether or not you will show up for said appointment. But you have set a clear date and time unless one of the parties needs to reschedule for a different time.
Having the address shouldn't matter. I set appointments all the time with doctors, meetings with clients, and even the freaking barber.
Now if a barber can keep up with his appointments why can't a provider? Yes, shit happens, things go wrong. But that's where communication comes in and the need to reschedule begins. Just don't leave anyone high and dry
