Any guy can be extravagant and buy expensive gifts . . .in the end a provider may just prefer that you give her more money. Gift cards are just more money in my mind.


What about high-end chocolate? Several years ago Neimans dropped their name-brand chocolates for specially boxed Godiva . . .then godiva was bought by a Turkish company. Not that special any more (to me anyway).
