Katie has another trade
FML...my a/c just went out in the middle of August. I called the warranty company, but it being August I am gonna have to take a number and wait in line til they get here. In the meanwhile, anyone wanna come help me install this window unit?
Send me a PM. I'm headed out on errands but will respond later when I get back.

Too late for me to delete. They actually told me they could do it first thing in the morning so I might not have to wait. Hallelujah!

Not much worse than a room, apartment or house without A/C in August in Houston.
Good luck with it Katie

No joke. I tell you what, I must have pissed off the Gods. The a/c broke, HEB screwed up my order and my car is acting funny. I think I'm done for the day...for the month, lol.

Maybe the warranty service call accrued a few extra charges (we’ve all seen this scam) and she’s busy paying the difference.....personally I would have sub-contracted out the work to undocumented workers for a fraction of her incall rate....when the work is done, I pay the fuckers in pesos and reap the benefits of their labor....if that’s not modern day capitalism, what the fuck is?....

They totally did not fix it. I am not happy.
American Home Shield sucks ass. Never use American Home Shield.
So anyway, the window units are up until further developments.

Side tangent off of Katie last post. American home shield is worthless. I had a dishwasher that caught fire. Fire department came, removed the dishwasher, and placed it out in the front yard.
American home shield fixed it and reinstalled it.
