I, Rand Al’Thor, will respect women enough to not do them the injustice of owing them respect by virtue of the chromosomes they were assigned during fertilization. Instead, I will give them the opportunity to earn everyone’s respect, making the respect they earn meaningful.

Kindness in action is not respect. Being respectful is not respecting someone. Being disrespectful is not the opposite of respecting someone.
If I were to respect someone who is an asshole, cheat, thief, murderer, etc.. my respect is worthless. Many of you are mistaking civility with respect.
There were mentions of morals, let's not confuse morals with ethics.

Although I do appreciate the thought of all women being respected under all circumstances I do have to say that I do disagree... Even though I am a women I don't believe that ANYONE should be respected if they doing something that would make someone not respect them... I know lots of women that I have NO respect for because they do not deserve it... I do believe in being nice and kind to anyone but I do not agree that just because we are women we should be treated any differently...

I'm not real fond of absolutes.
I do respect women (and men, for that matter) until they give me a good reason not to do so. I think anything beyond this makes you a door mat.

I talk a lot of shit on this forum and on many occasions banned for harrasing a certain provider on here but when it really boils down to it, in person, I wouldn't have the guts to disrespect a woman who with her own two eyes and well functioning brain has evidence of me seeking to pay for sex.
I mean shit, you already got the trump card when I walk in the door and we see each other. I'll be a good lil school boy. You have the ultimate leverage.
