Default Time to Bash The Cowboys

Its FOOTBALL finally. Preseason is over and the regular season is underway. I see some upsets all ready in the making, Like Tennessee beating Pittsburg, who would have thought.

The Cowboys play their rivals the New York Giants this evening. Can the Girls in Blue finally beat the Giants in their home stadium? Quite simply NO!!!!

The Cowboys have some great offensive weapons, but without an outstanding offensive line and Tony (I choke all the time) Romo as quarterback its going to be a long year. Throw in a coach that should be a head coach and I am afraid its going to be a long season. If the boys finish 8-8 it should be considered a successful season.

The eastern division of the NFC is not as strong as in years past. The Giants will be good, but probably miss the playoffs. The Eagles are a big question make while the Redskins are going to run away as Eastern Conference Champs.

The Cowboys will again miss the playoffs and should be plain lousy.

Just saw a DUMBASS from the Bengals cost his team a chance to win the game because he proved he's a hothead and got penalized. What a fucking idiot.

Till Jerry wakes up and fires the worst GM in any professional sport, sadly mediocrity will prevail. Read in the paper today that Jerry just passed Clint Murchison as the Cowboys longest tenured owner. Fire the GM, or sell the club, sadly the only thing to bring back glory days again.

So, along with your annual rant, some other enticing decisions come to mind.

Whataburger vs In n Out
Pizza Pizza vs. Papa Johns

Always enjoyable.

Eli looked like he was going to cry. Doesn't he know he too can take advantage of the Papa John's discount?

The Texans made an incredible comeback last night and beat the poor San Diego Chargers after being down 21 points in the third quarter. There were some great games during week one of the NFL season. Looks like a great year for football. Dallas fans have hope, but that's about as good as it will get for Cowboy fans, now on to week 2.

Philip Rivers seems to do the 4th quarter fade almost as good as Tony Romo during a playoff game. However, Tony does complete a lot of his 4th quarter passes but unfortunately they're to the opposing team's defense.

My DVR fucked up, all of a sudden it is 28-28 at the 2 minute warning. I guess I was spared the gut wrenching feeling of watching the metldown.

week 2 of the NFL proved very interesting. My humble observations are:

1. Dallas may be the best team in the NFC East, everyone else is sucking. I wont write off Washington or the Eagles just yet, but they need to start winning.
2. The Chargers won against the Eagles, out scoring that offense is not easy. And Oakland WON???? The Broncos are flying high and I think they will dominate the division.
3. Tennessee is better on defense than expected and it took Houston a lot of big plays and overtime for the win. Colts lost to Miami, maybe the AFC east will be stronger than most thought, even Buffalo won a game.
4. Seattle is going to be tough to beat, but San Francisco is not going to just roll over. Da Bears are 2-0 as are the Saints, they could both easily be 0-2 but a win is a win.

Can the Cowboys take advantage of a weak division and go to the playoffs? Gosh I hope not.
