Pardon me for this rank newbie question which I'm sure has been asked many times before, but what exactly is involved in the screening process? I've been to many MPs and various strip clubs, which don't require screening, but never to a regular SP, so how exactly would I get vetted? I figured that it was time to ask since there are a couple local SPs who I've been considering seeing who require screening.

You give the lady your home address and phone number, a copy of your drivers license and Social Security Card, and she will want to verify your employment, so the contact of the HR department at work. Oh another thing, it always helps speed up the process if you give her a copy of last year's tax filing. Feel safe knowing all of your information will be held in confidence and destroyed after 6 months.

In real life many of the ladies have different screening methods. Do a search for past threads on the topic and you'll learn much.

Oh and the real astute ladies will want your banking info so they can dip into your account for their fee. This way you never have to carry cash.

Usually (at least from my experience) screening might involve providing references from 1 or 2 other SPs you have seen. Given your situation, you may want to first seek out someone who is newbie friendly.

I've been screened once, besides my eccie profile, which isn't really screening when you think about it, and that was by a nervous lesbian who decided to try whoring for an afternoon.

This is due to most my activity being SW, AMP, and BP. Lower end. If I had top provider dough, I'd surely skim some off the top and use a service to verify myself safely. Or I'd hopefully have the balls to say, "show me yours, I'll show you mine." It isn't so much newbie friendly providers you are after, I assume, as friendly providers.

NEVER, EVER provide any real life information to an SP, she can tell you how much you can trust her as she wants, DO NOT.
No real name, no address, no employer, no NOTHING. If She insists, Just move on.
There are other SP's that are newbie friendly and do not need your real life information. Once you get established with them, then they can help you with vouches and references.

This information can be used against you at any time.

Also, make sure that you use a Hobby phone and not a real life personal phone.

I definitely want to see higher end ladies and have been thinking it would be okay to give my name and address... then I think better of it. I have no problem hosting a provider so they'll know where I live anyway. I may give that information out in order to see someone in the future but I'm still on the fence right now.

I definitely am not giving out my employment information. Fuck that noise.

I actually joined up here so I could see Crystal Aries who advertised as newbie friendly and she disappeared or retired or whatever before I even contacted her. A bummer, but I'm slowly learning... you have to work your way up from nothing, see who you can see and build your reputation.

Patience is key, you gotta think with your big head. I want to see Faith but I have no vouches, hardly any posts and only one review so there's no way I could pass her screening so I'm not going to try until I can. I just hope she doesn't retire before I can pass!

Excellent advice by cnym - if an appointment is not happening with a provider then "just move on." There's plenty of them out there and more popping up all the time.

If you have references from other VP's that will usually take care of the screening process. If no references they may want your ECCIE handle to see how active you are. You can also get a P411 account. A lot of ladies use that for screening.

I forgot about P411, need to take a look at that... that might be the shortcut I need! I thought I read something about them getting hacked a few months ago, though?

Can anyone that belongs to P411 indulge my lazy ass and give me a quick rundown of how it works?

I think the hacking of P411 was a false report. I haven't done P411 but I guess you will need to submit a decent amount of personal info.

yea...so if your not trying to give out your employment info..then good luck...im normally newbi friendly..but if your trying to give me a passport and your id..that doesnt cut it..and also..understand some ladies wont take me as a vouch...and the feeling is very mutual...so good luck..and if you come to me with ladies that i know have issues..welll good luck....basically..good luck...
even if your 4p11 friendly goodluck..i still screen beyond that..and datecheck.unless the lady is a member there ..it wont work.. ..good luck...some ladies arent part of date check.im not...i cant fathom paying huge rates per month with that site...wow guess it is hard for newbi's that dont wanna give up anything..well good luck.. i dont take chances..
thats the reality of my situation,,,but hey..luck might be in your favor...with someone that wont rip you off or take your info and use it against you..find a solid provider..give a lil and you may get back more than you put into it..but im kinda green to this whole thing... what the heck do I know..hehehe

Newby friendly providers do take some risks, but there are some out there who are patient and willing to work with you. I agree with CNYM, it's best to keep personal information just that -personal. However, in doing so, I recomment P411. That way, no personal information is given to me, yet you've been screened. I think newby friendly ladies are mostly concerned with bumping elbows with LE.
