It's about time for a conversation on squirting. Since there is not a lot of factual information regarding squirting on the web, I thought some anecdotal evidence would be a fun topic.

Here is mine:

• It is not a circus act. I cannot do it on demand. When I feel pressured, it ruins the overall experience as I am so focused on a result that I can't enjoy the ride.
• Supposedly about 80% of women can do it. It takes an amazing amount of comfort and relaxation.
• Regarding the above comment. It is an unlikely occurrence the first time that I am with a a lover.
• I taught myself to squirt about 2 years ago after seeing a hottie do it in the swinger scene, she told me to research and practice, which I did.
• It does not happen by the same exact stimulation for everyone. While research can be handy, I have found both personally and with other women, that it is a very Individual thing.
• Even with knowing my body, it is something that I had to practice. Most of the time I am able to squirt by my own means of stimulation. This is not an insult to any of my partners or their abilities, nor does it equate to my level of satisfaction. It was a learned and practiced skill. Without having ongoing access to my vagina...it's a tough thing to learn.
• I have found it most regulated by my hormonal cycle, hydration and level of comfort.
• Medications effect squirting. In the Spring, I can choose to breath or squirt.
• I have amazing clitoral/vaginal orgasms with or without squirting. While amazing, it is simply an physical result of an orgasm.
• I have squirted most often when in multiple or group situations which is my personal preference. As we all have our kink, 3+ is mine.

Thanks to my friends in the porn industry, I have learned that it is most often not squirt at all, but water injected into the vagina prior to shooting and camera tricks afterwards. I hope that I didn't rain on anyone's parade...or maybe I did rain on yours, depending on who you are

Thanks for the information Ari. While I personally was aware of most the dot points (if pressured its difficult to do, no woman can just squirt on demand, medication affects a woman's ability to squirt etc) I'm sure there are some men who are now more knowledgeable on this subject. Being part of and witnessing a woman squirt is a very hot experience, but I agree it's something you can't pre-plan or pressure a woman to do to. It either happens in the moment or it doesn't.

Very informative, Arianna. My experience with squirters is very minimal, so it's interesting to get your perspective. I would imagine that each lady's abilities to squirt (and how they get to that point during stimulation) is as different as how different ladies achieve orgasm, whether through oral stimulation or actual intercourse.

Anyway, since that relationship ran it's course, I've kind of experimented, with varying degrees of success, and here's what I've gathered;

It doesn't seem to come about in a lovey dovey context, like slow and sensual doesn't do it, it's the extra-aroused, hyper-drive mindset that brings it on.

Posture seems to play a role, specifically legs splayed wide apart, typically with her on her back, or like sitting on a couch. I've never made it happen in doggie-type stance.

And requires direct clitoral stimulation, I guess that's obvious, but the timing, speed and method seems to be key; At the height of arousal(hard to measure, I know), you switch from a massage-type pace to a "frantic" one, with two fingers back and forth, really fast.

I think the Hatachi(vibe/massager) would do it as well, by just massaging with it off, then switching it on at the "right" moment, but haven't tried this yet, at least as part of initiating the squirt.

In my experience (limited as it may be) I've found most women I have been with have the capacity in one fashion or another. Be it a dramatic increase in lubrication or a bed drenching geyser. Watch out for the geyser girls though. Once you get them going you're going to need to phone housekeeping for extra towels. And clean sheets. And a scuba mask.

Ari, do you find it easier to squirt on your second and subsequent O's than on your first? I had a non-provider AA lady friend a few years ago that would have a "normal" orgasm on her first, but invariably any more that she had, she'd convulse to beat the band and, not really squirt, but GUSH would be a more accurate description.
