The woman who has helped me for the last 14 years owns a 2 bedroom timeshare at Westgate Town Center, their flagship, 5 star resort in Kissimmee, FL. It is conveniently only 1 mile from Disney World and Universal Studios. It is a floating unit, which means it can be used anytime of the year. It can also be split into two one bedroom units, which will give you two weeks you can use it or rent it. Also, if you are unable to use it, it rolls over into the following year. That includes the second week if you split it. I've included photos of WTC below.
You are not relegated to WTC alone, you can go practically anywhere in the world using Interval International (which she is a member), for a transfer fee of around $150. The maintenance fees and taxes are around $850/yr. and this year has already been paid.
She and her daughter have stayed in 5 star resorts, using Interval, in London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, New Zealand, Canada and Vienna.

Depending upon who you speak to, it is currently valued between $26 and $32K. She has a daughter at MIT and her home was broken into on Christmas Eve. These things have made the timeshare a luxury she can no longer afford to use and is asking only $6,000.00.
Do the math and it's less than 25% at worst, less than 20% at best. She is willing to entertain a serious offer. However, she had a prior agreement to sell, but after all the paperwork went through, the buyer backed out of the agreement. She had legal recourse, but chose the higher ground. Therefore, she respectfully asks for only serious inquiries.
Westgate has a right of first refusal. Therefore, the buyer and seller must submit a signed document to Westgate stating the unit number and the amount of the sale. When Westgate approves the sale, they send the seller a document stating it's approval for the seller to sell to the named buyer. Because it only approved the sale to said buyer, this process may have to be repeated. I will check into this.
