But that is exactly where they are. Almost every conservative radio program I listened to yesterday had that message. They really don't understand that their anger and superiority complex speaks far louder than their message. They are stuck in the pre-Selma 50s. The universe has passed them by.

I keep hoping the Republicans will return to what they were before the fundamentalist moralists invaded. I want to be able to vote FOR someone again, not cast a vote based upon who will make me feel less dirty.

Hayek has aptly noted in The Constitution of Liberty and other writings. As a norm for action, the concept of “social justice” leads to uncertainty and competition for government favors. The result is bigger government and corruption. The cost of the pursuit of social justice is the loss of freedom. Instead of creating certainty by limiting the range of government actions under a just rule of law, the modern “liberal” State has produced discord. Indeed, when the role of government is to do good with other people’s money, there is no end to the mischief government can cause.
Many Americans seem to have lost sight of the idea that the role of government is not to instill values but to protect those rights that are consistent with a society of free and responsible individuals. Everyone has a right to pursue happiness, but no one has the right to do so by depriving others of their liberty and their property.
When democracy overreaches, there is no end to the demands on the public purse, and the power of government grows. The Founding Fathers sought to create a republic with limited government, not an unlimited democracy in which the “winners” are allowed to impose their will and vision of the good society on everyone else. In such a system politics becomes a fight of all against all, like the Hobbesian jungle, and nearly everyone is a net loser as taxes rise, deficits soar, and economic growth slows.

Sadly that is true. Unfortunately the left has almost as many sick ideas that are almost as bad as the Taliban Republicans.

Hopefully the center can reclaim the country before we hit an irrevocable problem. Assuming there are any centerists out there who haven't been killed by their own parties.

The Republican still got the idiot vote. Read some of the bitter ass crybabies on here and you'll see where the line was drawn.

However, there is a silver lining. The GOP as we know it will either split, change or die.

The reaction by the Republican teabagger mob guarantees that the GOP will be irreparably splintered for the next generation.

They can't sit around and jerk off. They can't claim the election was stolen. All they can do is look in the mirror.

This was theirs to win, but they fucked it up plain and simple. Their agenda is WRONG. Their appeal is WRONG. Their platform is WRONG. Their base is shrinking.

Now they're just in such a rage, that a split is inevitable.

That would be good for the GOP. They'd be able to be Republicans again and not Jeeznajerk Tea Baggers.
