Your best and worst flights..?
Best...
First class....Swissair, NYC to Geneva...crystal, caviear, beautiful stewardess.
Worst.....
It's a toss up between the time our dinner hit the ceiling on Pan Am or the time the door fell off on Nigerian Airlines.

Worst:an emergency grass strip landing in rural Oklahoma in a single engine Cessna being flown by a novice pilot (term used loosely), who barely had his license...................The fact that we survived the numbskull's ineptitude makes it also being the best flight!

Best:
1. Honolulu to Tokyo, Japan Airlines (Business Class)
2. Anything on Singapore Airlines
3. Air France is usually good too
Worst:
1. Vienna to Budapest Malev Airlines, circa 1987
2. Mexican Air from Puerto Vallarta - long line to restrooms from Montazouma's revenge.

Worst: Six-hour C-130 flight with 45lb ruck sitting on my knees while crammed in with 65 other similarly situated military personnel enjoying the enervating heat and humidity of a Central American country. The second worst was also on a C-130; this one was caught in the periphery of a hurricane.
Best: A business trip on a Leerjet.

Best: Bumped up to first class on American Airlines Dallas to Tokyo in 1998. I was the only one in first on that flight.
Worst, probably a tie between flying on an honest to God Boeing 707 in Honduras (probably the last one still flying in the world) and any flight on China Southern landing at the old Hong Kong airport.

Best, being upgraded to 1st Class on an United 747 From HI to CA ( I had not been home in 2 years)
Worst, a 13 hour Search and Rescue mission in the back of a C-130 in the middle of the Pacific.......And I volunteered for it..... (The first 4 hours were fun, even the air crew got sick of it, we were all on the intercom)

Best: Swissair business class LAX to Zurich and Geneva
Best cheap seats flight: Air New Zealand from LAX to Auckland
Worst: USMC DC-3 passenger config. (rear-facing seats - very easy to do a face plant when you undid the seat belt)from Salt Lake City to what was then MCAS El Toro.
