Exclamation Rodney King

Rodney King died at the young age of 47 on Father's Day, June 17th.

. . . In his memory can we all just get along?

In his swimming pool behind his house. Not bad for a man with little job skills and a bad drug habit.

Exclamation All Heart

Well, you have no brains, but you are all heart.

The poor guy made mistakes, but he suffered more than his share.

He was redeeming himself and had turned his life around.

. . . When do you think you might get around to doing as much?

That was pretty bad and pretty heartless, even for a supposed college professor with provably poor writing and spelling skills.

Don't they make you take a proficiency test to make sure you aren't making your students turn out as challenged as you appear to be?

Exclamation Hopeless

Are you kidding?

Barley Brains is really a hopeless case.

The riots that followed the not guilty verdict tore up the city and left over 50 people killed and thousands injured.

This was a huge injustice with serious consequences.

Rodney was injured so severely that one of his eyes was knocked out of its socket and needed a steel plate to keep it in place.

And yet, despite the grave injustice, he pleaded for the end to violence.

. . . He deserves more than a little respect!

Why don't you trade places with him? It would be as close to agreeable as you'd ever get.
