An old but timely joke...

It is the end of the cold war, and trade is beginning to evolve between Russia and the US. As relations warm, the White House gets a call from Gorbachov. "With new freedoms come new problems. We are having breakouts of venereal disease here because we are very short of condoms. Can i buy 5 billion condoms from your country Mr. President?"

The Prez does not hesitate. "No problem. There is no security risk in this so we would be happy to help." But Gorbachov says "Wait. You have to understand. Russian men are built differently. We need condoms that are roughly as big around as your American beer cans, that will cover 12 inches in length." The Prez assures him that it will not be a problem.

That afternoon, he calls the Secretary of commerce to have him place the order. "I want you to order 5 billion condoms with packaging and labeling in Russian. They should be able to handle the girth of a beer can and 15" in length. And I want all of the packaging, and even the information stamped on the condom to say 'Made in the USA- Size: Medium"
