Default Good or Bad Idea - Bridgeland Area in Cypress

Not terribly knowledgeable of the Houston area so I'm seeking opinions from anyone willing to share.

What is/are your opinion(s) about Cypress in the neighborhood called Bridgeland? It is in the area east of 290 that is trisected by Spring-Cypress Rd, Telge Rd, and Barker-Cypress Rd.

Home values are reasonably high end and look to be holding OK, but it's hard to get a grip on the Houston market due to the lack of zoning restrictions.

I have considered and pretty much ruled out the Katy / Cinco Ranch / Fulshear / Richmond area because I have a feeling the company may be moving north within 1-2 years after my arrival.

A friend suggested that I should stay north of FM 529 if I look up that way.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Gracias. 7-2-9

It's a master planned community and little brother to the Woodlands, planned and operated by the Howard Hughes Corp. Will have a town center along Grand Parkway and be 4 different planned sections over 20 years of development. Right now they're 5 years into construction.
