Provider response to PM or Appointment Request
This has been beat up pretty bad in the past but I was just reading a Thread wherein the guy was frustrated by the lack of communication from the Provider after he'd sent an Appointment Request so ...
Poll is open so we can show the results down gender lines ... ie ladies think 2-days, guys think 1-day.

where is the poll?
If I fail to answer an email in 24 hours I wouldn't blame the guy for finding someone else because you never know what their time constraints are.

Well, this is a tough one.
If it's the type of girl who posts she is 24/7 then I'd expect her to reply the same day.
If it's a girl that says she needs at least 24 hrs notice - then 2 days is acceptable.
I don't find it fair to just apply the same rule to everyone.
Over xmas break, I've been really good about replying to emails and PM's...but during the week while I'm in school, sometimes I don't get to check my real life email with stuff from my kids' school for two days. It's just how it is.
I think this is a thing that needs a bit of tweaking before it's vote for all type of poll.
I'm not voting, but there's my .02.

Kinda what came to my mind, I see ladies post Saturday morning ads that they are available the rest of the day. I would think a very quick turn around is needed. Then another lady may post she is available all next week, in which case a a day or more is fine. I think in most cases even a week or so out I would not want to wait more then 2 days.

I completely agree.... I try to reply as quickly as possible, usually within a couple of hours.

I voted "next day".... 'cause I tried to imagine the situation in reverse.... how soon can anyone be guaranteed to be able to answer hobby email?
90 something percent of the time.... I'm a "plan ahead" kinda guy...

I'm a touring SLUT so sometimes it is several days. Plus sometimes the nurses find the pillow dummies I make before I can get out of the parking lot at the Rockwall Rock Star Retirement Center.

I usually allow 2-3 days since I prefer lower-volume providers.

Time fram
I agree with the thought of it depends on the time the provider requires to get ready to host the client. If she only request few hours notice then she should be online ready to respond to a request within a short time. If she request few hours or 24 then the response should equal the time framed/\.

I dunno....
Most providers I have talked to say they get back within a few hours to 24hrs unless there are reasons... those reasons are usually due to a) the dude blowing up their phone, email, txt etc... b) overly descriptive in their note or saying something that she didn't feel comfy with c) shes just busy...
Personally I would add a d) she's flakey or busy
If you don't hear in a few hours to the next morning, just move on. There are plenty of opportunities out there to spend your money with.

Even though we are having fun in this lifestyle,I think this is also a business and therefore should be run like a business...................... ...with the results being a successful business!

When I am scheduling an ECCIE lady, I am usually using PMs to start with, and I may not be able to check back for 24 hours, or even longer. So, I usually am planning well in advance.
In the old days when I used the FW Observer and other weekly mags, it was generally a situation where I called. If no answer, I went to the next one.
