Jan 6 still in the news
Oath Keepers lawyer charged with obstruction in connection with January 6.
A lawyer with close ties to the right-wing militia group the Oath Keepers has been charged with four counts related to the January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack, including conspiracy to obstruct the certification of the electoral college vote that day.
Kellye SoRelle, an attorney who volunteered for Lawyers for Trump during efforts to challenge the 2020 election results and says she's general counsel for the Oath Keepers, also faces obstruction of justice and obstruction of an official proceeding charges.
She's gonna have good company in her obstruction case. A dude she offered to assist is gonna be facing the same charges VERY soon.
"Donald- you're the next contestant on obstruction injunction"

Republicans and obstruction of justice. What an iconic duo. Are they still claiming to be the party of law and order?

Former Trump White House lawyers expected to appear Friday before January 6 grand jury
Former White House counsel Pat Cipollone and his former deputy Patrick Philbin are expected to appear Friday before a grand jury in Washington, DC, that's investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol and the events leading up to it,Cipollone and Philbin had been subpoenaed in the federal criminal probe. Philbin and Cipollone, who worked in the White House counsel's office, were both key witnesses to then-President Donald Trump's actions in the last days of his presidency.
Cipollone and Philbin repeatedly pushed back on efforts to overturn the 2020 election and opposed a proposal to replace the attorney general with someone willing to look into false claims of election fraud. Both Philbin and Cipollone indicated that they would resign should such a plan be executed.
During Cipollone's own testimony before the House committee, he told investigators that on January 6 he was joined by a number of top Trump advisers -- including Philbin -- in pushing the former President to issue a strong condemnation of the attack.
Earlier this year, the Justice Department expanded its investigation beyond the rioters who breached the Capitol into fundraising and organizing for the political rally that served as a prelude to the riot as well as into efforts to subvert the Electoral College vote count.
More obstruction.....more and more and more.

Yup. Many more convictions are en-route. Latest was an ex NYPD Cop who got a nice fat sentence.
And when GOP candidates continue to support insurrection actions, they won't get re-elected. Americans see what a mob tried to do, and the majority don't want that to happen again.
(Not like Repturds who classify the crowd on the 6th as tourists- those ppl are the Kool aid crowd, who will buy / believe anything to get Trump back as the white supremacist chief of the USA)

further details about promoting of how far up voting fraud claims started:
The wife of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas contacted at least two Wisconsin state lawmakers, including the chair of the Senate elections committee, urging them to overturn President Joe Biden's 2020 election win in the tightly contested state, emails obtained Thursday by The Associated Press show.
Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, a conservative activist, also had sent messages to more than two dozen lawmakers in Arizona.
In her communications with lawmakers in both states, Thomas urged Republicans to choose their own slate of electors after the election, arguing that results giving Biden a victory in the states were marred by fraud. Despite numerous reviews, lawsuits and recounts , no widespread fraud calling into question the results has been discovered in either state.
The emails received at the exact same time on Nov. 9, 2020, by Wisconsin state Sen. Kathy Bernier and state Rep. Gary Tauchen were first reported Thursday by The Washington Post. The AP obtained the email from Bernier, and the watchdog group Documented posted the email Tauchen received.
Bernier, who has been outspoken in saying there was no widespread voter fraud in Wisconsin’s election that Biden fairly won, said she had no issue with Thomas contacting her about the election.
“There were a lot of Republicans at the time that thought there was massive voter fraud. ... I’m sure she would have preferred taking it back, especially after all of the evidence.”
Tauchen declined comment through a spokesperson.
Clarence Thomas was the only member of the Supreme Court who voted against the court’s order allowing the U.S. House committee investigating the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, to obtain Trump records that were held by the National Archives and Records Administration. The court voted in January to allow the committee to get the documents.
Ginni Thomas's role in the plot to overturn the 2020 election won by Biden is being looked at by members of the House committee investigating the riot. The committee asked her in June to sit for an interview.
Impeach Clarence Thomas now.
Let the Jan 6th panel cow kick every fucking liar who promotes voting fraud out of the government and never be allowed to hold office again. This ruse must end and not be allowed to taint the election process and peaceful transition of power.

If you can’t do the time, don’t attempt to overthrow a democratic election.

You know damn well the usual suspects from the left here cheered on riots and looting. And you know damn well that libtards across the country not only cheered on riots and looting but took part in it. But yeah, keep talking about a 3 hour protest two years ago while ignoring the 8 months where libtards rioted and looted and burned cities
