Question Recomendations on machanic to put engine in a Pontiac Fierro

I have an 1986 Pontiac Fierro that I need an engine put in. I have already purchased a GT 6 cylinder engine. Need to get this engine installed. Any recommendations?
I have money to pay for it . Don't want to get "SCREWED" I am just a girl and don't know any about this subject.

Thanks for your help, gentleman! Skyla Raine

Wow! I absolutely loved the handling of Fiero that I owned a while ago - I think it was a 86 too. Not long after I sold it to a friend, one day, while he was driving to work the car got on fire and was totalled [He was uninjured because he pulled over at the first sign of trouble.]

I think the Fiero handled curves better than the Z3.

Sorry, I know I haven't been any help.

not an easy engine swap, limited space to work in. wish I lived in the area would love the challenge, especially having you come over to monitor the progress. Check around some of the small shops most all wrench turners are looking for side work...

Is the current engine a 6 ? If not it may be more work than you want to tackle. Going from a 4 to a 6 may involve alot. I know there was a lot of differences in the two cars. Sorry I don't know any wrenches in Dallas. Good luck.
