Them and They bullshit!

Like many of us I like to google people and things sometimes. I had heard Demi Lavoto had come out as bi and wanted to read what she had to say.
I’m reading this damn thing and I’m wondering who the fuck is “they” or Their” and it dawned on me this is our new English language. “They” is only plural if your dealing with straight people. Not sure if gay or bi animals need to be called “they”. Objects not so sure. If a gay person is holding one object is that object a “they”.
Why the hell would this even MATTER!! It’s getting more and more confusing to be a straight white dude. It’s almost funny.
Do we need to go back to school to take “modern” English classes? I’m(I think I’m still I’m) getting a little confused.

I have to admit, if anyone uses that word cisgender in place of "normal" around me and expects me to do likewise I doubt seriously that I will be able to fight of the urge to punch him right in the face. lol

If you are referring to multiple gay or bi people, are “they” now referred to as “I”??
If a person is non sexual, is that person referred to as “blank” ??(call them nothing??)
We need to make sure we get this right!!

The idea that everyone should be informed of one's sexual orientation is offensive. It is not their business.

But then, we can spot a gay guy just by the way he walks, talks and dresses. Well, at least most of the time.

Remember, we get to select whom we associate with: we can quietly walk away from strange people and let them be alone with only others like themselves.
