The O was the one experience that outside of that part of Oakland becoming essentially safe most nights really hasn't changed for the 30 years, at least. Shame.

Zelda's on a Friday night late 77-80 was a blast. Maybe into the early 80s. I use to call it the Z factory. If I recall had the classic wall graffiti in the men's room. Anticipation is an ant crawling up an elephants leg with the intention of rape. Or something like that

Yep. I liked it as a teenager/early 20s, but had pretty much stopped going there years ago. 5 Guys is right next door and their fries are better, IMO.

Assume there is no connection between this shop and the Btighton Hot Dog Shop. Think there are several locations now but I go back to the original in New Brighton. Raised in Beaver Falls and have great memories of there and Hank's in the early 60s/
