Do you ever think you are sex addict?

I read a 2017 survey in which the average American has around 7-8 sexual partners in their lifetime. I’ve had that in a month (many years ago). Since our numbers are several hundred and in some cases several thousand times higher than the national average are we addicts?

Can savvy providers recognize a sex addict versus a healthy libido?

I’m kinda glad I’m not a sex addict anymore. It was getting extreme both physically and financially. I simply aged out of it but enjoyed it while it lasted.

I think according to civilized society I do...but it’s total BS since nature wants us to screw as often with as many different partners as possible to ensure the survival of the species. So I think I’m perfectly fine.

Oh, I know I have a healthy addiction to women. I’m just flat out fascinated by the opposite sex - they’re a perpetual mystery; one I love to ruminate on.

I do know one thing for certain (that some will admit and some won’t), they love a man who’s respectful, intelligent and passionate, who also knows how to work them over - just as much as a man loves to get worked by them. Especially if there’s genuine chemistry.

I brought this up to Exotic_Gem once, and she gave it to me plainly, “babe, you’re a man.” I guess I’m just genetically predisposed to addiction to females. LOL! #KanyeShrug

If I’m being honest, I used to worry myself to death with the idea that I was a “deviant”, but as I’ve grown, I’ve simply relegated myself to the idea that I can’t outrun my DNA. I love it, unapologetically so.

That begs the question about men and women. If a man has many partners, paid or not, them they have a healthy libido or, if 2-3 a week, maybe the nice term sex addict. How about women who have multiple partners? My point is society is a bit cruel and does not normally describe women in such nice terms.

Very well said. Me too.

For me - any woman who is with me in a committed relationship will never sleep at night. I simply love all aspects of the mental, physical and other ways of exploring our relationship.

Same with experiences here. I'm not sure I'd call myself a "addict", but I simply love and enjoy it tremendously, and try to ensure my partners do, too.
