2012
History has a point of repeating itself, we build then destroy, we love and hate. Civilization gets wipe out and we start all over again, climate change is getting worse. What do you think is gonna happen at the end of 2012?

Civilization shall remain, no worries there. All a bunch of BS, planet earth isn't going anywhere
I just hope that by the end of 2012 the moving trucks will be lining up on Pennsylvania Avenue to ship our ' royal family' back to the Windy City.

UH, at the end of 2012, there's be a party, (called NY eve) just as the year shifts to 2013, then all the goobers will come out of their caves, dens, basements and pick a new date of doom. Happens every time.

Don't you people know the world is ending in 2012???
From Wikipedia:
The 2012 phenomenon comprises a range of eschatological beliefs that cataclysmic or transformative events will occur on December 21, 2012. This date is regarded as the end-date of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. Various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae related to this date have been proposed.

Now to the crux of the biscuit. Well, if I were a betting man, I'd be taking the odds against anybody knocking off ol' BarryO in 2012.
The GOP is far too fragmented and barring a near miracle, will unable to field a viable challenger. Unless you think The Donald speaks for you. After all, he IS the frontrunner right now. LMAO!
Naw, I think you'll see a lot of the Tea Party freshmen run out of Washington, unless the real Repubs don't regain control over their traditional constituencies. If they can, then there's a chance they can seriously challenge Obama. But as it stands, there's not a chance in hell they can nominate a candidate who will unite the various conservative movements enough to win next November. Have you looked at the people vying for the GOP nomination? All that's missing is Glenn Beck and Kinky Friedman.
That doesn't mean that Obama won't fuck things up even worse than Bush did and we'll have no choice. That's always a possibility.
But I certainly wouldn't bet on it.
(PS -- The Windy City is Chicago ... not a reference to climate change. OK, so I couldn't help but peek at that post. Figured what I might read. I wasn't disappointed!)

Front runner now means little, pretty much means nothing but you are correct, as of now the elephants have whorechit to run in 2012, so the kurrent Kommander in Thief will have a good shot at picking our pockets until 2016. We shall see..
Speaking of the windy city, had an excellent wet Italian Beef w hots at Lucky Dog in Round Rock.
Hopefully in 2012 I won't have to pay a VAT tax on that Italian Beef or anything else I buy because some donkey decides to rob me even more that he is re-elected, if he is...

The world may come to an end, but remember, it's a religious/mythological/magic idea, not science. All of the galactic alignment/pole reversal/etc. stuff is nonsense.

HELLO, KOSHER! HAPPY PESACH! LONG TIME BROSEPH!
Of course you know where I stand, but from your post I gleaned the IMPORTANT CHIT!
ITALIAN BEEF IN AUSTIN? (OK, RoundNuts).
FUUUUUCK! Lucky Dog used to be in the CHOSEN part of town but moved. Don't remember if they had an Italian Beef sammich then... but I gotta tell you, if it's the REAL DEAL I'm there in a heartbeat (OK, once Passover has passed over...)
My primo Italian Beef join in Chicago is Ricobene's. Under the EL in a part of town that would make Rundberg look like Tarrytown. Italian sausage, topped by shaved beef and all dipped in the AW JEW sauce!
DAMN! I don't give a fuck about politics! Give me Italian Beef! I might even lure you out of your Kave to do it, boychick! (OK. Just so the fudge pack thinks we're fighting: So if anybody robs you, it'll be because an asslicking first time Teabagger came to Austin and figured they could axe any fee or tax at the state level if it left the local pols to make up the slack. But WTF do I know?)

oh shit, hope my Rabbi doesn't point me, I just ate bread. I know, a beef in RR doesn't sound right, but its the best we can do here, it is imported from Chicago at least...
That is a popular beef you had, I preferred Mothers downtown before it closed on Jackson, a few smaller places as well..known to the locals, not the tourists who all think Al's Beef and Mr. Beef are the only act in town...
I will be there in June, if you wish to meet we shall have an all u can eat beef kontest and the last one to stop eating has to pay the bill, it will be our version of ' Jews vs. Food' or ' elephant vs donkey' ; we can than go take huge chits on the Mag Mile
and the loser has to switch parties for 2012 before the world suddenly ends like in the movies.

Well amigo, I don't know about the switching parties thing -- I have NEVER voted for a straight ticket (or a gay ticket) in my life.
But I think I'd be delighted to come up to Round Rock for Italian Beef.
Won't be in Chicago anytime soon. I'm really partial to Giordano's! Lou Malinati's doesn't suck either! I know it's a pizza joint but their combo sandwich is to die from! I will be in Kansas City, Philly, DC and Atlantic City ... but those homos don't know jacksquat about how to treat beef (kinda like Aggies and sheep).
We ought to have an UTR social at Chicago Dog and not invite anybody. We could both put it in our sig lines. Then, when nobody RSVPs, we can get some of the best looking ladies in the ATX to come lap the gravy off of our beytzim!
What say ye, my treyfadike brudder?
BTW -- you know what you get when you cross matzah and pain meds? BRICKS!

I was in Chicago last weekend. I usually get Italian Beef (wet) at Portillo's. Awesome!

Naw, KC. We need to take a huge chit on the BEAN!
I know that's probably a bit too far from home for some of our detractors, but I'd suggest they do their research and then venture forth from the smokefilled VIP rooms of Austin...
