Hobby Phone Issues

I have a Verizon GzOne flip phone for a hobby phone. Works like a champ 90% of the time. However I have a provider now that I cannot read any text that she sends me. The phone does receive the message, but when I go to open the message, the screen just reads: (PAGE).
This has happened with other numbers but has never been such a consistent problem like it has been for this particular provider's number. I have tried the usual things like turning it off, taking the battery out and putting it back it and turning it back on. It hasn't fixed it yet. So if anyone else has had this problem and has solution I would very much appreciate some information. Thanks.

Is she using Verizon also? It's a fairly common problem with them.

I assume she is on Verizon. I think she has a samsung also.

It's a common problem, I downloaded a different messaging app to get around the issue personally

Anyone ever try any of the apps on your smartphone to hide your texts from certain numbers. I was looking at Vault-Hide SMS and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it?
